GT4 at the Games Convention in Leipzig / Germany

As we have a couple of members from Germany and its neighbours here at this board, i thought it might be of interest, that Sony will display our highly anticipated Gran Turismo 4 at the Games Convention in Leipzig / Germany. It will not only be playable but playable in a hydraulic Audi TT Simulator. So if anybody still had any doubt whether to go to Leipzig or not, that now should be resolved

Cool, see if you can lay your hands on a couple of copies of the BMW Demo while you are there! (There are a few Euro in it for you if you can get me one, anyway !)

Sorry folks, but i wont be there. On vacation during that time. Plus i am not that kind of person that lines up for 2:37 hour just to play a game for 2:37 minutes. Not even if it is my personal downfall named GT4 ....

nobody answered my Q ? How far is from munich as i'm staying there for vication and from 19th of august to 25 or 26 th of august?

Munich - Leipzig = 420 KM. From Munich you have to pass Ingolstadt (-> Audi) and Nuremberg (-> Nuremberg trials).

However, all hotels are booked out...

The Audi TT simulator is not new. Was already there last year (with GT3):

The reason why I go to Leipzig is not GT4. It´s the concert featuring video game music. Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy), Chris Hülsbeck (Turrican), Allister Brimble (Alienbreed) and Yuzo Koshiro (Shenmue) will be there...

I met him last year an hour before the concert and one day later at the GC while eating in public.

There were 8 playable GT4 games at the Sony booth (only Nordschleife, but with fast cars) and several others outside the booth. Some lucky guys could play inside the Audi TT.
