I've read from these threads that there are additional cars (about 10), ability to switch from A-spec to B-spec, etc.. You can see them in some thread called "PAL UPDATE: GARAGE IN 2P RACES + ALL 12 NEW PAL CARS + NEW TECH DATA + old updates"

On the US GT4 website under BMW M3 GTR 2001 the car has a different colour scheme to the car that I have seen in game. Are there two or is it just the wrong picture? Anybody know?

I can't copy the picture but the car looks similar to this one, red, black and white rather than white and blue.

can someone tell me how to get your replays of GT on to the pc.... PLEASE.... 👍
You can use a Sharkport or Xport and I believe a Action Replay to get them to your PC, You can also use a Video capture card!

That's for LAN mode. XLink is simply the name of the profile (you could call it "Bob" for all the game cares). XLink is the tunneling software that fools the PS2 into thinking it's playing a LAN game when in fact it's playing online. There are plenty of threads around here on XLink.

thank you for answerin my question, i think this should be added to a FAQ, im gonna PM the guy who has it pinned.

There is already a topic about this, but referring to it, is it possible the garage size has been downgraded in the North America and PAL version to make room for the extra's?

Please read this thread. It has all the avatar requirements.

In future if you have a question, please check the question forum, and if you can't find the answer you're looking for, use the search function.:)

Have a nice day.:)

Why would the garage need to be reduced in size to make room for the extra's? The cars in your garage are all just data already on the disk, when you save it all it saves onto a memorycard, not the disk. Reducing the size of the garage would not free up any disk space, only potentially reduce the ammount of memory a game save would take.

Yeah, considering the size of the GT3 save file, I'm glad I have a sharkport so I can back some stuff up on my computer. I'm not a big fan of having multiple memory cars. :yuck:

Why does the US PS2 games--including GT4 have such crappy packaging materials? The print quality of the instruction manuals, as well as the DVD and case itself, really suck compared to the Japanese versions. What's with that? Is it becuase more US customers don't care? Or are the US distributors just cheap (fat-ass middlemen).

I dunno how the packaging is in Europe. Most likely better than the US Versions...
