Hey, just out of curiosity does anyone know what the name of the 2 songs are from the E3 2004 GT4 Trailer?? I've been trying to find the names but I haven't had any luck.

About the M3 GTR, I've seen screenshots of the blue/white car but what is the deal with the red/white/black car I saw.
Picture is on www.us.playstation.com. It is on the GT4 car list section.
It is definately not a photograph and I can't find a car the same as it anywhere.

I have compared the picture to the car that is in game. The blue paintwork is changed to black and the front bumper/wheelarches are red. It is car #1 and seems to have the same decals as the in-game car and in the same places.
It may have been made up by the developers but I don't know.
I have photoshopped an original pic to represent what it looks like. Please excuse the poor quality, I was in a hurry.

Maybe another color scheme??? 💡

Well, I suppose people (and XBOX owners) will still be here. GT4 owners might swap Tips, Settings and Times, and the Rumble Strip is almost guaranteed to stay brimming with people:)

off topic, sorry didn't know where else to put.

One question, Is the pit manuver possible in GT4, can you or the AI spin out if you hit them in the rear quarter panel. I know in GT3 you couldn't do this, it was like the car was glued to the track. Just wondering because i was really bothering me. If this game is all about real physics, then why arn't you able to spin out if this happens?

I knew thats how someone would take it. I don't race dirty at all, im just saying that sometimes this situation comes up when racing, even i real life races. If someone were to hit the rear quarter panel that way on accident or on purpose(not me), chances are the car would spin out. I know that if i was going 120 mph and someone tapped me on the rear quarter panel even the slightest bit I would have to try to gain control of the car before i got spun out.

Just Sayin 👍

Yeah i was only joking, well actually i just tried that on my Japanese version and it did work but it took some nudging, its not rreally worth it tho, cos all that nudging really decreased my speed. but when your in a stress with the AI hu aint gave em a bit of a nudge?

Well at least it does something and not act like GT3 did. Maybe in the NTSC and PAL versions it will be fixed, but i highly, highly doubt it will be.

It's not that much different to GT3 in terms of collsions, improved but don't expect much.

At least KY is looking to include damage in GT5, and hopefully it wil be up to a high standard.

well from hearing about the PS3's capabilities, there should be no reason why they shouldn't have damage. The PS3 is is simply going to kick ASS. GT5 alone should easily exceed all of the GT series combined. Its simly going to be stunning and i can't wait to see what they have instore for us next.

It's because of the New Cell chip, (((((((4.0GHZ :scared: ))))))) That's faster than all PC's LOl!!! 👍

isnt gtplanet just gonna dry up as soon as gt4 is released, every ones gonna be to busy playing the game.
I for one, won't totally abandon, but will definitely be on GTP a lot less after release, but hey can you blame me?

nope, can't do it. NOt in GT3 anyway. All you can do is get the replay data. The only way to get the video replay is to capture it from the PS2 or the TV.
Unless you have an PS2 usb drive, wich can get everything from every game from the MC to the PC and vica versa.

Just look at Datel and the Max drive

I still don't see how that can get the actual video replay from the PS2. Did I miss something?

I just saw a new commercial for GT4. It had a lancia racing around through a little european town as well as some other cars (perhaps a lotus).

you know what pisses me off, the game is out in 3 days and they havn't given out any info about the game at all. Leaving us all in the dark and asking questions that no one can fully answer. You'd think that someone (someone official) would have given us all the info on the game a week ago. But no, they just love to leave us hanging till the day we finally pop it into our PS2's and finally play the damn thing.

Ok i'm done now

I've heard an Alienware one is 4Ghz.
That's excellent, I never heard of anything faster than 3.8GHz, I built my compter to be the fastest on the market just 2 months ago and I couldn't find anythig faster than 3.8! As a matter of fact it's much faster than I need it to be, Can you imagine that speed on a gaming console? I honestly believe that we will finally be seeing more than 6 cars in GT games once the Cell Chip is inside the PS/3, That's going to be Major.👍

Yes. The PS2's system clock runs at exactly 294.912mhz and look at what GT4 looks like. An amazing achievment. With 4.0Ghz or so that the PS3 will run at, GT5 will probably have much more than 6 cars, ultra realistic graphics and superb AI. It's also supposed to have very enhanced online play as well.

PC's just move on too quickly. You just wait. In 6 months time PC's will run at 4.2-4.4GhZ.

From what I understand the reason for no damage at the moment is more to do with the car industry not giving permission for realistic damage, Polophony are only interested in realism. Let's hope GT get their way for GT5.
