the two models are very similair - I think the vent on the side was on the first mark but not just as big !

on a side note I was passenger in one of the V6 models and it was amazing !! The way the car squatted under acceleration, you could feel the car drop backwards when the rear wheels gripped and the speed of the thing was amazing. It sounded brilliant, not too loud but loud enough to let you know that about half a foot from your head there is a V6 monster !!!

helo ppl, i would jus like 2 about dat geeza who tested out da BMW gt4 demo disk, he was on about an 'S1' n was talkin about a 500 hp car, would he be refering to an AUDI S1 ralli,

sum1 plz answer dis question
thnks

Welcome to GTP DappaDaRealist, I ought to tell you before a mod does that you should type as good grammar as you can because theres a large part of the community is non-English and a lot of them don't understand what your typing.

thanks for the warning live4speed, my apologies 2 everyone,
the question i asked before was if amar was refering to the audi s1 quattro when he was writing that review, can someone tell me if that was the case or am i missing something
thanks

Don't worry, I just thought it's best you know now rather than someone else come and tell you in a less polite way like all forums there are some assholes here. I'm just going over that review of Amars to see what he was on about.

As mentioned in the other thread now, Amar was talking about the new BMW 1 series not the Audi Quattro S1.

I've driven one of this Clio V6, and it's really amazing. It's an incredible car, and I don't know why only 225cv first version will be in the game. Let's hope they finally iclude the new one, with 255cv, which is more agressive and fast, and obviously BMW M3 and M3 CSL :)))

Polyphony001, believe me, I've seen the two versions of Clio V6, outside and inside, and they are quite different. The front, 18 inch wheels for new version, colors, rear, side, engine, suspensions, interior, everything...

Greets ;)

Although I am new, I must say Ferrari won't make it. It seems Sony couldn't obtain license rights from them. Lamborghini is a maybe. And from what I hear, McLaren might be under BMW. (I'm guessing that b/c of it being powered by them)

The only McLaren that CAN come under BMW is the BMW McLaren FINA F1 GTR as seen in GT4. As for Ferrari, whty does it seem PD didn't get the license, it's a complete unknown on the subject as far as I'm concerned, I'm not expecting them in but I do recognise that theres a chance given the ammount of attention PD has given to Ferrari on the GT4:P disk even though it doesn't say anything or show anything about them being in GT4.

I was looking at some Prologue shots and it said BMW has the manu. and McLaren F1 GTR as the model.

Yep, and thats the only McLaren that can come under BMW, you need a McLaren licese to include the others.

I have been observing this thread for quite some time and I thought it best to contribute a few thoughts.

Some vehicles of interest derived from the prologue ending movies:

In the pal version there is brief footage of polyphony staff photographing a Nissan R90 CP. This car is not a later model of the Nissan R89C (which was on display at E3) rather it was a separate project within Nissan/Nismo. Incidentally a 1000 hp R90CP is featured in Best Motoring ‘Fuji Fast.’

Another car tested and photographed in both ending movies is the current model Honda NSX(non pop up headlights). For those of you with either version of prologue, you may recall the footage of the blue car oversteering in a damp corner.

I wish to scrutinise the suggestion that the 360 Modena in the pal version ending movie and bonus disk was a Challenge Stradale. The lack of black challenge grill or black carbon fibre mirrors readily identifies the car as a standard 360.

The thread lists the RUF Turbo-R, (which is a 993 aircooled based vehicle) rather than the 996 based R-turbo that was tested and photographed privately by polyphony Europe. Do a search on Adam+Ruf to find the thread about the car. A final point about the R-turbo tested is that it is the more recent wide bodied AWD example (rather than the narrow bodied RWD version.) Pity

Finally here are some cars that appeared in the NTSC/J ending movie footage that were not shown being tested:

Lotus M250 concept (silver)
Aston Martin DB7 (green/race prepared )
Jaguar XJR-9 Silk Cut (from rear)
Bugatti EB110 Esso LM (blue/from rear)

Warm regards…

Samberto

Hmmm. Very nice Samberto, I would say your a good observer. Anyways welcome to GTP and hopefully your services can be useful. 👍

I've heard the RUF refered to as both Turbo-R and R-Turbo, so I just put the one I thought was right.

As for the other four cars, I think I remember the video and if I remember correctly most of those cars were just sitting on showrooms or museums, so I don't think they'll go on the list since they didn't appear to be putting much effort into looking into them.

Ahh, the fabled 359….what a pleasant welcome. Firstly, the Turbo-R and R-turbo are completely different vehicles. Secondly, I specifically flagged the point that the Lotus M250, Aston Martin DB7 race, Jaguar XJR-9 and the Bugatti EB110 LM were not being photographed or tested in the footage. Should this fact preclude them from our discussion? Thirdly, what of the face-lifted NSX, standard 360 Modena and Nissan R90 CP?
I came to this thread with the intension of enlivening the discussion and furthering our collective knowledge of potential inclusions for gt4. It seems quite a shame that this sort of contribution is unwelcomed by the purveyor of the list…

Sam

I shot who in the what now?

I forgot about correcting the Ferrari and adding the R90CP, and I was agreeing with you that the other cars were not being photographed for purposes of being in the game, hence why I did not include them. And the facelifted NSX is already on the list.

By the way, sine someone posted it, the "updates" at the bottom of the page I usually only update it when there is some major addition, for sublte changes I don't bother with that.

That said the list is changed almost daily.

Hmm, such command of the English language. 359, I am not in the habit of posting for kudos, yet I am well pleased to see that the list has now evolved despite your reluctance…

Here are some images of three newly listed cars...
Nissan R90CP
Honda/Acura NSX face lift
Ferrari 360 Modena

Jasper359,
just thought I’d query your source for the Porsche 996 RSR. Specifics would be much appreciated.

Warm regards,
Sam

I hope the Corvette C6 makes it into GT4 I really like the new look, and what ever happend to the Corvette ZR1? I like that Vette that should be in too. I seen that Forza is going to have the Corvette C6 in it, at first I did not like Forza but I have seen some videos and it is looking to be pretty good, I just don't think they got the driving physics down yet it looks like the cars handle like PGR2... :yuck:
