I was hoping for a pontoac gto 66+ because after that year they satrted to come out with the 400 which had a lot of potential with the help of tri-power carbs. I have a 68' gto painted a dark olive green with the original body. the car makes a measured 610 hp at the wheels!!! a true muscle car.
when I think of muscle cars I think of saturday night recing at the strip.

IMO the 68 GTO = Best GTO ever. I hate those lantern style park lights of the front of the 69+.

You got some pics of your 68 that you can share, I would like to see it. My dad owned a 68 years ago, the top of the range ones with all the goodies like those retractable headlight covers etc. he put a 69(I think) GTO 455HO motor in it. although the original 400 is great also.

Placing a V8 in the FWD tiburon should not be possible due to size this is puzzling?

i guess you guys couldn't believe either.
What I meant by V8 is..
that the Tiburon has 'V8' emblem on back.
I can take screen shot later today, I confirmed it multiple times and
yes it says 'V8' on the back.
It doesn't mean it's got V8 engine.
It has V6 172hp engine inside.
And it says V8 on the back..
Could it be a mistake?
I strongly don't think so..
Then why did they do that?
I have no idea....
 
At that distance and with that font, a V6 emblem could be easy mistakable for a V8 emblem. Especially as this game doesn't have the ultimate detail.

google "v8 focus" and you'll find quite a few of them. The SVT one is the most impressive, because it features OE levels of refinement and reliability. Not surprising since it was made specifically for SEMA and was the child of performance engineers with unlimited access to Ford's parts bin. It used the SVT cobra's supercharged 4.7l and the majority of the drivetrain.

The cobra has a 4.6L not a 4.7L, but that doesn't matter because they used a 5.0 "crammer" crate motor in the focus.
 
If Amuse has 4 cars, then I think we are in for a lot more than 700 cars. I like the R1 myself; I was worried I was going to have to recreate that one using the add-on wings and wheels.
 
these are some pics of the gto before we went from red to green. i added one with my dad's 70 pontiac firebird formula 400. these car is not STREET LEGAL measured to have over 1200 tire smoking horsepower and it runs less tha 9 seconds in the 1/4 mile AND HAS A TOP SPEED OF 205 MPH. ALSO ADDED A PIC OF MY 67 CAMARO WITH A SUPERCHARGED 350. MAKING 540 HP AT THE WHEELS IT RUNS LOW 11S! we own muscle cars so here is another gto this one is a 72 which is ot so nice but we got the best look from it as possible

Just few cars I've found to be missing from the list The359, from either the translated 583 list, or the recent scans/videos:

Mazda Demio (1st-gen, not A-Spec, so assuming it's the GL-X of GT3)
Mercedes SL500 '02 (R230-gen)
Lotus Elise '00 (regular, base 2nd gen)
Lotus Elise 111S '03
Mitsubishi GTO SR '95
Nismo GT-R LM Road Edition
Renault Megane 2.0 16v (current gen)
Toyota RSC Concept (the regular one, not the Rally)
Mugen S2000 (same as GT3's)

Was that the Nismo car with blue rims and grey body?

B/c the one in GT2 sucked, and only improved in the handling department for GT3, IMO.
 
Yes, it was. I never really liked it much, although it was fun if you left the HP stock and just gave it everything else. At max HP it was much like the Tom's Chaser; a handful.

Is the presence of the Ginetta G20 in the list based on the same kind of evidence, or has it actually been shown in a screenshot or in a list by Polyphony?

If it's seen by one person, then I'm at the moment taking their word on it (especially since it's logical to assume that the Rally version of the Quattro would be in).

And the Ginetta was confirmed by Polyphony I believe, they themselves said it'd be in. The G20 is also running around with GT4 sponsership at the moment.

I see you've put Tom's as an option, but if Tom's is there shouldn't the Mugen have it's own as well........and besides the Castrol Tom's Supra's should be there.........and I right or wrong??
