Yep, got the game yesterday, plugged the h320 in and it worked no hassle, created a GT4 folder and stuck the pics right in. You can also view them on the 320. It's a dream.

someone really needs to figure out how to convert these memory card photo saves to jpg.. i have this from my memory card.. BASCUS-97328Pe27VazY its 350KB and defiently the picture.. :/

Did you try and simply add a ".jpg" on the end of the filename and open it?

yeah.. dident work.. its in some format the ps2 reads.. im sure theres a way to extract the image out of it.. not that it matters anymore.. i went out and bought a flash drive 👍
 
Plz help me guys. I bought the Maxdrive without reading these posts so im gonna go tomorrow to exchange it at Frys since it doesnt work. My PS2 version is SCHP 50001, I was set on buying a SanDisk Micro Cruzer 128mb but i read it doesnt work with some versions of the PS2...so plz help me since i have to return this. Are u guys 100% positive that the Cruzer would work? or should I get a Sony 64MB Micro Vault or a Kingston 128mb Data traveler? these are my options guys: OPTIONS!!!!

It's the Sandisk Mini Cruzer that doesn't seem to work for everyone. No one has complained about the Sandisk Micro Cruzer yet.

For those of you with a CompUSA near you, it appears that they will have the Sony Micro Vault 128 mb on sale Friday for $9.99 (no rebates) from 6pm-Midnight. Worth a try....although I don't know why they're closing at 5 to re-open at 6pm for their 21st birthday sale. Oh well.

i know there's another thread about this, but i've seen the question asked many times in the last few hours, so here's what I know works. If someone else has tried something, post it up and i will make this list larger as it goes:

Additional info:
Photos saved to Sony Memory Card is compressed down to approximately 100kb, resulting in minor artifacting when displayed on a computer monitor. Photos saved to USB storage is approximately 250-300kb.

I have a SanDisk Cruzer Mini USB Flash Drive and it works fine on my PS2 with GT4...

It doesn't work for everyone though. I have a Sandisk Cruzer Mini and it doesn't work of my PS2 or my friend's PS2. Mine's at least 2 years old and his is only a few months old. So it's not entirely incorrect.

I finally got a Cruzer Micro 512. My 256mb Cruzer Mini didn't want to work. My girlfriends Cruzer Mini 256 just died a few days ago and I sent it out to get replaced. I'll test it out when I get it back to see if works with GT4. I made my 1st pic today too.

 
I just tried my SanDisk 1.0gb Mp3 Player and it worked. I just hooked it to my PS2 as if I were loading songs on to it from my computer, and saved the file to usb device and then hooked it to my comp and it was in a folder called GT4. Really happy this worked.

SanDisk Digital Audio Player 1.0gb is what it is called
 
I have a Muvo 64mb (the first version ever), and it doesn't work ! When I try to upload any foto it says "Unable to acess Flash drive". I've formated it so it's not a space problem...


Any help ?

Thanks, i just picked up two. From 34.99 to 9.99.. you can't beat that.

Hmm I've got the 128MB version dunno if its the old model or what but it works perfectly.
 
Just to confirm the positive functioning on MAC OSX with a 'pqi Cool Drive' 128mb formatted for MS-DOS with Mac OS9 drivers - £19.99 from Maplins in UK :-)

It should work for PC users immedietly but if you have problems as a Mac user just initialize/format the disk as stated above using disk utility and the PS2 and your Mac will read it no probs! 👍

on my OS9 bootable Quicksilver it functioned straight away without any need for a disk initialize :sly:

Tiny Disk 128mb, and it works perfectly fine, lovely quality.

I have Philips HDD070 mp3 player and cannot get it work.. i think should i format it?

And i have some old trust camera with 8mb memory :D it says "cannot access to the flash memory" ? what that means? is there a any way to get these work?

Pls if anyone have tried and got to work these things please let me know :)

does xport or digital camera work? will they work to import photos from Gt on to the pc or if usin a digital camera, onto the digital camera and then onto the pc?

ive got an idea, does anybody that is still active on this thread have a post on the first page? if u do u could put all the information together and actually update it sayin if things work or not and if u have to do certain things to them for them to work.

and if u want, i would make a new thread just for confirmed things that work.

hell, a website too, if someone had the information together, i could make a site and put it on there.
 
For those in the UK I got me one of THESE 256mb for £17.99, the do a smaller one at 128mb for £14.99 but for the few £'s extra it's more than worth it.

WHen you go to Save the pics there are options for Picture Quality. When saving it to the USB Device I always have it set to the Highest Quality

Currently have this one as my Wallpaper at work (1024x768) & took a while for people to realise it's all Computer Generated
