i feel like crying
i just bought a 64mb sony micro vault, and when i try to same my pictures onto it, it says "error accessing USB flash memory"

could anyone please help me out
please....
btw it looks something like this
resize.php

I think anything below 128mb is unreadable to GT4, I'm not sure on that right now, but I'll see if that's right. My Geek Squad 256mb USB Drive ($19.99) works excellent.

Ok I'm not a geek or anything, but i got a Scandisk cruzer mini 256mb......reformatted as explained in this thread....worked well....as for 1.0 and 2.0 I'm told that 2.0 devices will adjust themeselves to a 1.0............. thanks for the help

About that USB-stuff. I tried to connect my iPod but unfortunately it didn't work. Though my iPod was being charged via the PS2 and said 'Do not disconnect'. I had to switch off the PS2 to disconnect the iPod.
I have an iPod photo and wouldn't it be great to just directly upload your photo's from GT4 into your iPod Photo library? Okay, maybe I am just a freak...

Ok, so you've got the right cables and you know how to plug it in, but did you set your iPod into file transfer mode (or something similar, not sure what the name is called)?

ok if i bought a USB flash device would i be able to transfer games saves back and forth from my pc to ps2 and vice versa

No, you won't be able to save directly to the USB device, but you could save pictures in Photo Mode. Unless you have an Action Replay MAX Drive, then you won't be able to transfer game saves.

Note: Game saves transferred from the MemoryCard will be in .max format when saved through the MAX Drive.

Is it possible to copy saved-games/replays with the Creative MuVo slim?
If so, how?

Cheers

You cannot save game saves to a USB Device. I'll see if you could save replays though (probably not). The only mode you could save directly to is the Photo Mode, where you save the pictures.

no..what i mean was save a game on the memory card normally, then somehow manage to copy it from the memory card to the usb device, then from the usb dvice to the computer .so that i can save space on my memory card

yea you can do that
go to your album select the photo then choose transfer to USB memory on the side

if any one has a psp and a usb cable you can upload your pictures into the memorystick and then plug the usb cable into the pc and get them off there. it will be in a folder named GT4. good thing i have one

naa mate, am not joking, thats what i use atm, but it drains the battery like mad! can only save like 7-8 photos (each takes about 4-5mins to save :yuck: )

OK, I am new to GT4 and can't wait to get my photos from my game onto my PC - well, it's a actually Mac running OS X. I bought the MaxDrive for PS2 when the retailer at EB Games told me that it is USB so it would work with PC and Mac. Well, the Images went on to my MaxDrive just fine from the Memeory card in my PS2, now I'm trying to get them into my Mac. The MAxDrive plugs right in, and the files appear ready for me to copy them off of the USB drive.... but I can't use them! They all have a .max extension, so nothing I have will open them... Am I suppose to change the extension to something else? I also have an iPod (formatted for Mac) so I would like to know if this was an alternative for me to use all along before I went and dropped $50 on a 16MN memory stick that's apparently for PC.... any takers??

Use your Ipod. I'm running 10.3.9 and using an iPod shuffle 512 and it's perfect. None of this silly "reformatting" the poor PC people are talking about.

Perfect, robofunc

Please tell me, what instructions do I need to connect and transfer photos and game plays over to my 3G 20G iPod? Also, how do I avoid getting files onto my iPod that aren't readable? The MaxDrive resulted in files with .MAX extension.... I need JPG (or .mov or .avi, etc) obviously. Is it the MaxDrive software that put those files onto my Flash drive with the unusable .max file extension?

Any help would be appreciated.
