No, that's just a usb cable to transfer data. GT4 only recognises portable storage media devices like HDD's and memory sticks.

i ve an incredible idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .... using a digital camera with memory stick conected to the ps2 usb, someone would try to pass the photo mode photos to the camera... then conect the cable of the camera in the pc, and next , pass the photo to the pc... by windows explorer ...
Please someone try to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been there, done that - nearly a month ago.

Since it worked without problems under XP without asking for drivers, I tried it immediately with GT4 as it arrived.
But a USB stick is more handy.

BTW - Clean up your shift and 1! key, it seems to stuck sometimes...

do yall mean the "Sony Mini Micro Vault" ...??

- looking at sony.com here, theres a few types of the USB Vaults:
Micro Vault® Ultra Mini USB Storage Media - 64MB / 128MB / 256 MB
Micro Vault® USB Storage Media - 128MB / 256MB

those are the only types of USB storage cards

As I posted somewhere else, my old crappy HP photosmart 120 digital camera with 256MB Compact Flash serves only one purpose - storing GT4 Photomode images. I just set it to the Hard drive mode.

I used memory sticks (Buffalo Clip Drive, IOData EasyDisk Pt), digital camera (Minolta Dimage F200) and portable hard disks (IOdata HDA-iU160/120M), all worked.

When you connect the USB to the PS2 and the other end to the iPod, I wonder if it will work...?
