This week’s theme will be "Reflections" as chosen by Week 66 Winner Beerzgood.
Further explanation of theme:
In the words of Beerzy:
I want to see shots where reflective surfaces play the major role on the shot, whether it be the car's body or just a part of it, some shiny rims, NY buildings, etc.
Cars: Any, except race cars.
Tracks: Any.
Phototravel: Yes.

Get those entries in, people! Make me drool! :D:tup:

This means that I can use my new reflections method! :D Either that or my classic lighting in a tunnel...

Tell us Mog!!! I'm not good at reflections.......But never the less I will try!

Changed Entry:

Final Entry

Well,i dug up some of my old photos and used it....

Sure you can, I even stated it on the theme's description.

Mog - I remember that shot! :D

Mouser - Cool reflections off the white Skyline, good shot.

Bram, franz, sej, etc., are you guys entering this one or what?

I'd also really like to see jacoja entering this one, he's a master at cleaning up reflections.

Why aren't I in that list.....:(

After a supuring on by Beerzy,
I decided to try new things on this shot like using the dodge and burn tool which I don't usually use.
I am really pleased wth the outcome of this though.

See what I said? Motivation!

Great shot, speeds! Matches the theme really well. Love the clean look of the car, and the strong red interior. Good angle too.

Paint job looks really shiny and blur is looking fine also. 👍

Btw, I also forgot alex on that post (!!!), so you shouldn't feel that bad...

Thanks Beerzy, maybe you should become my official motivator! :) Thanks for the comment on it. Also I don't feel that bad as I know I am not as good as people like Mog, Alex, Bram, Sej, Franz and you. I am just so pleased with the results.

Great entry, I always loved that shot! Dark and moody, just the way I like them. :sly:

mnm_bmx - I forgot to mention earlier, but how does the shot you posted relate to them theme? I don't see any reflections anywhere...

That's a fabulous shot Speedy!

I'm not sure if I'm entering this one, I've just recieved my new computer, so I need to settle everything down first, and transfer files from my older computer to get started again

But that's also positive, my new computer's awesome, and with excellent screen quality so be sure that I'm about to get better 👍

I think it's meant to be that the car is being reflected in a window or something..

C'mon, Bram! Enter this one!

NOW!!!

If you really can't do a new shot, enter one from your gallery that suits the theme and hasn't been posted yet (of course). :)

But I'd love to see a shot from you on this one.

Mog - I thought so too, but can't recall any place where the entire car is reflected as good as that anywhere, and in the end, it's just not perceptible if it is a reflection or a normal car shot. But I don't think it is a reflection, since GT4 cars don't reflect anywhere (that I know), otherwise they would reflect each other, which doesn't happen.

That's a fabulous shot Speedy!

Thanks :embarrassed: It was done by your inspiration though, I loved the way you always got amazing reflections on your shots in NY, so I thought I would try it with almost the same ingredients: black car, NY, blur and clean car. Then I just expanded from there. I am really glad you liked it as you were who I was set to please (mainly).

I really do you get to enter as your whole photo style suits this perfectly.

Well, I'm having isues with Vista currently, it seems to be a freezing issue that even the fastest HP computers have to deal with. I', doing everything I can though to fix it, Vista is so cool, but very unreliable. I might even change to XP...

Get an iMac! :)

Since I probably won't have time to do an entry this week:

Looks like many people are using the 'rainy day' images.

Awesome, SlipZ. I remember that one, I find it incredibly realistic, love the lighting and the reflections. Great work on the headlights too. 👍
