Looks like I'm going to have to spend some money... :indiff: This may be a silly question, but what about the BMW Touring car (not the M3 GTR) that's in the garage? It is NOT eligible for the Deutsche tournament in the European hall.. :confused:...

Thanks for the explanation guys. I'ts just that i have the hardest weeks of school ever. :crazy: :yuck: . I'm only in my second year of 4 years of animatian filmschool and we need to draw like a bunch of chimpansees week in week out. :ill:
Plus only 4 pc's on this school wich you can use free for surfing on the web :ouch: .

and sorry for this a bit difficult theme. It's just that i needed to choose it when my ps2 was not nearby so i couldn't exactly see wether it was worth or not. But as i can see you just need to keep on trying and one or 2 cars near yours is enough.

I WILL judge on style and will most certainly pay NO attention to the cars. This is about a pic guys. And i see a pic still as art, no matter what you try to show on the pic, i will look at it with all my knowledge and oc personal taste but not at wich car you choose.

I think the best you do is follow one of the DTM cars that is racing also. Maybe ramming him a couple of times to get him split from the group and then racing after him. I tryed it this weekend and it worked.

And wy are you guys so lasy anyway. I hope slick won't change this weeks comp cause some lasy guys say they tryed for half an hour and still didn't see one other DTM car.
Well maybe you don't know what a DTM car is cause there should be always one from my experience. If not just be patient and try again.
 
I had a look to see what my options were with cars/races last night, after trying allsorts of combinations of race/difficulty in family cup I began to suspect Speedthrill was having a laugh!
Strange but true - My (PAL) version does not include Apricot hill in the 'Deutsche Touring Car Meistershaft'. :crazy:
Anyway, managed to take a few pics, (in family cup), avoiding the Alpha Romeo - I didn't know it was eligable at the time :dopey:
I'm not gonna moan about how hard it is to get pictures, in a way, taking some of the control we've had in past competitions might throw up some interesting entries.
The hardest bit for me so far is how to get some recognisable landscape in there as well. Mind you, hasn't stopped me in the past :sly:

I'm not having a laugh with you guys. It's just that I love Apricot hill and the DtM Cars so i wanted to merge them together.

Again this is not going to be judged on the amount of DtM Cars, nor on the car itself (just make sure it's a DTMcar) but on how good yr Pic is.

How could i make a laugh with you guys anyway if there are pics here already who are legit as an entry. :)

Cheers 👍 I won't bother trying to win it then! Looks like it will be the Audi TT for me I think... Hopefully it handles a bit better than it did in GT Concept :yuck:
 
Maybe this will help...
I used the ALFA in the Family Cup for AH, bumped the difficulty to 8 which seemed to give me the Opel and MB. At least 3 cars in the event.

So if you have a time with finding another DTM, try another difficulty setting.

I only used the ALFA, so the Audis, etc may have different results.
 
Heres a few of the ones I have taken. I havent decided which one to use yet. Might wait till later on. Seeing as I havent made the top 20 in my first 2 tries, anyone got any comments on these?

I was just asking for someone to comment on the pics. I will pic one myself, just wanted some critique. I dunno who got your panties in a wad but chill the F out.

Well excuse me for being the new guy.

I would think the regulars in the photo comp would like some more people to participate. Seeing as how I havent entered one before I was unware of any problems regarding 'help me pick my pic'. So instead of busting my balls for something I wasnt aware of, welcoming the new competition and informing them of the problem might have been more understandable then being an ass from the get go.
 
Here's my opinion for what it's worth. The picture of the cars under the Dunlop Bridge (pic #2) looks like an advertising picture. The ones of the cars coming up the hill (pics #6 & 7) would look a little better if there wasn't so much of the empty grandstands in them. Pic #5 seems to have too much sky and not enough "scenery". In pic #3, the Audi seems a little on the dark side. There's another picture in the comp (or at least posted in this thread already) that looks VERY similar to pic #1. So, of the ones you've posted, pic #4 looks to be the coolest one here. But then again these are just my opinions.

Did you miss the "Proper post" example in this thread? Have you looked at prior competitions for guidance?

Doubt it.

Just to clarify I wasnt refering to you busting my balls, I was refering to dori-san's statement. And for the record, I did see the proper post example. But 2 posts above mine someone did the exact same thing as I. Go figure.....

I don't mind the part about asking someones opinion on something as much as I can't stand the way you have posted! I am not being mean, but would you please edit your post so I don't have to scroll sideways on my monitor! Just have 2 rows of pictures like I have done above! Thankyou, have a nice day!:)
 
Heh. It took an hour to get another DTM car against me... And that's all I could get.
