GT4 Photomode Magazine Cover: Week 8

the main photo has been shrinked from 960x1280 to 600x800
I also used smart blur to smooth the texture out

like your MR-S cover, the resolution is 1534x2000
your main photo must be enlarged, therefore it looks pixelated
when you start a new cover, I recommend using 960x1280 (GT4 photos default resolution)
the main photo should be untouched in scale
when you are done, shrink the whole cover to 600x800, and it will look good

i think your final entry ended up being one of the cleanest photos i've seen from GT4.. but i messed with it a LITTLE bit.. brightening it.. i hope u dont mind:

I envy the abilities of the people who enter in this competition. I don't enter because I can't think of what a title, much less a cover design. I am not creative and don't have an imagination I guess.

If you need to, look to REAL covers for inspiration.

• Take a title that is already used and modify it. Like: Race Times could be Circle Track Review
• Choose fonts that MATCH the type of mag you are making. If it is a tuner mag, used "hipper" fonts. If it is like the Dupont Registry, then use classic, clean fonts.
• Choose cars that fit the idea of what the mag is about.
• Try and use bright color cars (Something that this comp has taught me)
• Take LOTS of pics to choose from. I will shoot 30 or so and pick maybe two for potential background pics.

If you don't have to reinvent the wheel, then don't. Once you make a few by using others for your starting point, you will be better able to design ones from scratch.

Like mama always says "Can't never did anything and Won't Try did less." Just put mouse to pad and go go GO!
