you're right about the cloud filter
it was pain in the butt doing layer masking
keep guessing where I should emphasize the smoke
and my hand was so unsteady lately ... keep messing me up

Nice!!! I gotta ask how you keep getting verticals, do you have the replay to just show the one camera view? or are you getting lucky with the dive replay?

Hey there Franz!
Seeing that I came up with the theme and I think I'm the Judge.
I kinda thought that I would skip this one and concentrate on Kenny's and
The Mercedes 120th birthday compo (where I'm not the Judge).

Although adding some cool type to the 'Rocket launch' would be 'da bomb'...

I rarely use dive replay.
I believe that shot was just taken from a really high angle.
Sometimes it can take me a really long time to get the 'birds eye view' just right.

And then sometimes...
I did a shot a while back:
Just when the little clock has stopped revolving (waiting for the data to load) and you hit the select button (and this would be the Dive Replay default) I did find that a direct overhead shot of the car popped right up.

Wow! Those are really nice! Except the photos appear a little dark. Maybe it's just my monitor.

i think its just you.....could also be the result of me shooting into the sun.....lol.....the seattle sunset is too nice to ignore though....

i think it came out ok considering it was done in Photoshop 5

It's probably a combination of both the sunllight and my monitor. The Le Mans one is good!

oh Dive replay
I heard that if you clear all the music in your playlist
the camera will not change very often
so you can change the camera manually and search for bird view
hope this help ...
I didn't try it yet but gonna try it for for the Merc cover

Toad > I don't think it is really matter for being the judge
there are still room for top 20

The Las Vegas Smoke Show. A 3 day event, on the strip with the
scariest beasts you ever heard (or smelled). This would be a large display poster
(or something like it).
I should add some more type, but I'm very very lazy.

very nice!! I guess GT4 doesn't differenciate between which wheel is getting the stoping force, if it's spinning and the brake is on then the rotor turns orange, very nice!!!

It actually does differentiate. Rarely will you see the rear brakes turn orange.
