Further explanation of the theme: "Take a photo where the car is kicking up a lot of dust."

Cars: "any", (rally cars preferred);
Track: "any dirt tracks";
Rules: 2.0;
Phototravel: No.

• Clone Stamp Tool (for removing watermark)

- Previews may be posted, but must be no larger then 400X300.
- Indicate your final entry with "Final Entry", preferred in Bold or in Red.
- When changing your entry, indicate clearly.
- No entries will be accepted after the deadline.
- You may only enter 1 image.
- You may only change your entry once.
- All images must be uploaded at Imageshack.

Hmmm, I don’t know because, it suits the theme (“Dust”) but not the track (“any dirt track”)…well, Moglet is the judge on this one, so I don’t know if that shot is quite valid or not, but my advice is that you change it, to a more "suitable for the theme" shot.

As the theme says specifically "ANY DIRT TRACK", I believe it's fair that only dirt tracks are allowed.

But that's just me.

lmracer, why does it look like your picture is 100% edited, the smoke and the other stuff? I noticed your front wheel is bigger and faded....(meaning low opacity)...
I think the rules should have been a bit altered so this way no one can add dust or sand..

This week rules are 2.0; so if he done that with the given Photoshop adjustment tools and filters, I don’t see the problem with it. But don’t worry he can’t submit that entry, because of the reasons said above.

The front wheel is faded due to the way GT4 renders dust, and the size is the same as the rear wheel. The dust in his shot may look as if it's been added to but it's simply been dodged to be very bright from the looks of things.

Not that any of this matters because it's against the rules anyway; it's not a dirt track.
