GT4 Rally Photomode Competition Week 16 CLOSED

Thank you to all those that voted in the week 14 poll. Be sure to congratulate Treefingers as the winner of Week 14 Rally Photomode Competition, Roadster Rally. Just take a look at the great winning shot that most people have labeled "The Creepy Guy" .....

And now for week 16 Treefingers has a new mission for us this week. He wants us to impress him with how good we can handle our rear wheel drive beasts. So here's what we need to do for week 16 (drum roll please).......

Week 16 Theme: Rear Wheel Dirt Rally

ANY non-racing rear wheel drive car on any dirt/gravel track. Once again the car must be ON the dirt/gravel not just at a track that has dirt/gravel sections. (Yes, concept cars will be allowed)

Entry Deadline: Saturday 03 September Midnight

The rules (please read them all).....

1. ONLY photomode pictures will be accepted. NO Photoshop, Photosuite or any other kind of enhancements/modifications allowed.

2. Use only your own pictures.

3. Use only Imageshack Thumbnail for forums (1) link.

4. Only one valid entry per week per person. Once a valid entry has been submitted, it may not be changed.

5. In the spirit of fairness (and anonymity), please don't post your FINAL ENTRY in a thread of any kind or your galleries until AFTER the winner has been selected. Also, please don't post HM's.

6. A system will be used in which the winner of each week's competition will choose the theme and Top 20 for the next week's competition however, the winner WILL NOT be allowed to re-enter the competition until the following week. The Top 20 entries will be placed in a poll to select that week's winner.

NOTE: If at least 20 entries are not received, ALL entries will be entered into the weekly poll and the previous week's winner will be eligible for entry.

7. As entries are received they will be posted here for your viewing pleasure.

FINAL ENTRIES:

OK, I know this theme doesn't suck that bad. It's something we all enjoy doing....throwing the rear of the car out a little as we go around a corner and feel the back end ease back into a straight line as the tires slowly grab traction coming out of the corner. You mean you NEVER "dirt tracked" your rear wheel drive car? You don't know what your missing.

Fire up those V-8's, V-6's and four bangers that drive the rear wheels, get some cool shots of your run on the dirt and then show us the results.

ill come up with something ... just, not sure what i want to drive ... hmm ...

[edit - germans dont like their cars driven in the mud and dirt apparently :grumpy: ]

i wish i could post hm's this week, hard time choosing this week. maybe ill remember to post them in a couple of weeks for once :|

As long as your HM's are NOT photos of the same car that was submitted as a valid final entry, I'll allow it. But, if you post photos of the same car you submitted, I'll have to DQ the entry. Fair enough?

Yes Sir! Affirmative Sir!

I tried to take a bunch the other night but I wasn't happy with any of them - a good thing as for some reason I was convinced that the theme was front wheel drive!

Some nice competition this week. I like the Prowler (of course, when could I not) and the blue 'Cuda.

wow, didnt know the vw was rwd.. but it makes sense w/ the rear engine, guess i never thought about it though.

Hmm... if there IS a valid entry with a car that also appears on HM's, that would tell it's not the HM persons' entry. Slightly bites the anonymity there...

I believe that goes for the Fiat Cinquecento's too.
