With the exception of the physics of course, I agree with you. Reading this thread makes me want to pop in my GT2 disc again after so long. Love having a garage full of RM cars.

I still prefer GT1 of all GT games. but since I can't save it, it's no use starting the same stuff every time I feel like playing. just love driving my MA70 Supra over the High Speed Ring with Feeder playing loud. but for now, i'll just stick with GT4 to be a little competitive, hehe. I need to learn how to drive without those driving aids again 
Interesting thread! I completed GT4 about a year ago and not having the cash for a PS3/GT5 restarted GT4, except with Auto gearbox OFF, and it's like a much better and completely different game! New lease of life for the Logitech wheel paddles! Also trying to bag as many A-spec points and spend as few credits as possible! GT5 might have better graphics, but GT4 is a great game.........

I think GT4 is still fun...
I mean, for me the GT5 is fun game that has good graphics but it doesn`t have the same feel that GT4 has. GT4 just has so many things that GT5 hasn`t. For example, in GT4 you can win same car again, again and again if you want to. But in GT5, once you sold your car that winned from some random race, there is work to get that car back. And, i think that GT4 Bob is smarter than GT5. I don`t know if it is that, but it just feels like.
For the older games, GT1 is awesome game, that i never forget.
I might even grab out my PS1 and play some GT1!
But yeah, GT4 is still fun in my opinion.

danvodkaI'd love to see GT4 on PSN or now that they release PS2 classics for download. I would buy it instantly, even though I have a PS2 and the whole GT series on disc already... I WANT GT4 on my PS3

Funny, right after I left in summer of 2008, I had to sell ps2 with granturismo 4 disc.
No job back then meant, "EVERY" gaming thing I had needed to be sold.
You should check on ebay sunday through early wednesday night.
That is the best time to find sellers trying to reduce the price or bargain with you to make a quick dollar.
I got a silver ps2 as is 3 months ago, got it, turned it on nothing wrong with it mostly scratches...
He told me a customer returned broken, well I got it for 30.00. and he was giddy to just get rid of it.
About to replace the housing on it in spring time and fully use it.
Granturismo 4 on ebay is very easy to get, most highest you'll pay is 15.00 dollars for one in semi good conditioned.
Its never too late to get it...
