Indeed. I was shocked when I moved from PS7 to CS2 (though moving to CS3 was just improvement, nothing big). I suddenly had 10+ kinds of blur (Before, only Gaussian, Radial and Movement, which wasn't really enough), upgraded tools, features, selection-mechanisms... Everything.

Well, those are all great, but the best is the Shadow-Highlight option. Simply amazing.

For selection mechs, I almost always use the pen tool. Its fast and as precise as you care to be, and requires no steady hand to use.
