Dang, I should go back to Division 3

22.123
47.492

And it took me a hell of a lot to get that

Thanks to RMK, I can finally point the nose of this thing instead of just plowing off each turn exit.

21.430
46.232

I'll have another go later, I think I can do a bit better as the uphill before T2 is killing me.

EDIT:
Marginal improvement but a nice T1:

21.387
46.171

Sweet, thanks to sjaak's setup and a few laps I managed to break into the 21's for T1 in 5 laps. My T2 isn't pretty, but it isn't bad either. Anyways, back to doing some laps for me.

Edit: I hit my mark for tonight, which was to get into 21's for T1 and 46's for T2.

Best splits:
T1: 21.847
T2: 46.935
Not fast, and I don't think it was totally clean, I think I turned in too early for last corner an didnt stay on the rumbles. Was clean until the last corner. :(

Splits for my fastest clean lap:
T1: 21.934
T2: 47.061
Still have some slow spots where I could have gone faster.

I've dropped about .800 from my laptime... thanks to rmk's set-up :D However, I haven't written down the sector times... I will later.

I forgot to post this in my setup but I also used 1 for understeer.

My Driver Aids was 0 1 0.

Slower at T1 but better T2 and finish:

21.459
45.948

Great week, tight racing, good luck everyone.

wont have anymore time for this one tomorrow.

time submitted.

such a great combo sjaak!! thanx bunches!!

great times and close racing...good luck to everyone!!! 👍

Using rmk700's setup I was able to squeeze some more time off ...

T1: 21.526 :D
T2: 46.463

Definitely much more agressive than last weeks run. I was getting progressively faster but I kept running four wheels off at various points, the end of the last tunnel was particularly evil as it seems to suck you over to the wall as you run through and a photo check with exposure cranked up a few stops shows it to most definitely be cobblestones.

I finally got my best run yet and it looks clean. I had to check at least four places on the replay to be sure, one where I have only a few inches of tire still on the track and another where I come within inches of hitting the wall on the uphill climb.

In the end a good combination. I've never been much good with Skylines in the past and towards the end of this run I was feeling a lot more confident with it's handling and power.

To Sjaak and CMir, I'll be seeing you at the finish line :)

Well, after two small sessions I came up with this...

21.913
46.670

Then I thought that I must have more in me then that and ran a 3rd longer one, but to no avail, I've had 21.62 and such, and a few 46.5x but have not put it all down yet, I'll give it one more go before subing but I'm not dissapointed with this lap.

EDIT: a few more laps more and no impovement, so I'm subing now....👍

21.491
46.140 time submitted 👍

full down force and only gearing changes ( Erik)

I had a final session today and I'm back with a new best lap. Splits are:
21.422
45.771
The final sector was not so good, I lost up to 2 tenths there.

I managed this great improvement thanks to 2 things:
1- rmk700's setup, that was great, before I used it I was frustrated that I couldn't get the splits you were getting and then my first lap with this setup was 0.6 better than my previous best.
2- shifting later: somehow, when I saw the power/torque chart, I thought it was better to shift around 5000rpm. :dopey: :ouch: Shifting at the redline was better and helped my laps.

I never got around to racing this again as work has been too demanding this week :ouch: I never even got the chance to try out rmk's set up which would probably have improved my time as my car is still stock other than the geartrick :grumpy: .... anyway time submitted and thanks for a cool combo again Sjaakie ;)

Good luck to all
