looks like fun. i like the stickies and the nerve it takes to also drive the 3rd lap as fast as possible.
leaderboard initiated tho the first t's are still to come in.
very good work again from sjaak. what's the 68 stand for anyway?
btw? is this a replica from the lan event you visited recently, sjaak? if not, will we be dubbing any of those races in the near future?

Well these multi lappers kill me everytime, but are great for practicing consistent concentration :) My first session after 45 min using 270 gearing, may play with that later:

T1 T2 T3 <------ For some reason, when I click save, these don't align above the lap times below them :irked:

Lap 1 - :22.408 :43.637 1:05.517

Lap 2 - :22.451 :43.874 1:05.780

Lap 3 - :22.430 :43.780 1:05.673

I can see another .6 or so MAX, but I may not have enough time this week to do this one as I need to practice other cars for Bobkart's this weekend 👍

EDIT - I updated the leaderboard to reflect all 3 T splits instead of two :)

Just ran for 15 minutes or so - First splits, using 220 gearing -

Lap 1 - :23.277 :45.160 1:08.086

Lap 2 - :23.050 :45.373 1:08.541

Lap 3 - :23.334 :45.252 1:07.906

Clearly not much consistency yet, and a lot still out there on the track!

Gave it a go before breakfast.

gearing: right out of the box.

Lap 1 - 23.677 / 46.043 /1 '09.113

Lap 2 - 24.177 / 47.048 / 1'10.529

Lap 2 - 23.391 / 45.899 / 1'09.362

It's going to be a long week I suspect.

Lap 1 - 0'22.303 - 0'43.415 - 1'05.374 (+0.232)
Lap 2 - 0'22.191 - 0'43.301 - 1'05.346 (best lap)
Lap 3 - 0'22.226 - 0'43.410 - 1'05.287 (+0.118)

Top speed 220. Nice car to drive, lapping consistantly is not hard at all, but I lost at least 0.8 there.

First attempt:
L1: 22"758 - 44"482 - 1'07"532
L2: 22"821 - 44"823 - 1'07"465
L3: 22"935 - 44"689 - 1'07"212

I'm struggling to have 3 clean and fast laps in a row :)
At least i have a rather quick ghost to follow, so that helps.
It would be easier if i could trust my pedals, because they frequently give a false reading, so that the amount of throttle is decreased. Time to open it up again.

First splits from me this week

Lap 1 - 22'612 - 44'054 - 1'05.914

Lap 2 - 22'436 - 43'855 - 1'06.197

Lap 3 - 22'606 - 44'176 - 1'06.451

( 240 km )

L2 23.200 44.799 107.180
L3 22.745 44.356 oppssss :sly:
240 i think
like i said a couple of laps
should be a fun week 👍👍

an hour @ laguna seca with:

L1 23.409 45.874 1.10.372
L2 23.654 46.053 1.09.904
L3 23.642 45.960 1.08.986

better post that 3t3 time which'll prolly set you top of div3 for now mate 👍

220 seems to be the right choice of gearing for this week. kill the ghost? exit the race or just beat him! :)

LU up to post 13. good luck to all!
EDIT updated up to post 19.

You can exit the race after the third lap. but during the second and third lap i often have to look at the track through the ghost's back window. and when he's towards, my instinct makes me brake (precious time loss) to avoid hitting his back... :grumpy:
so much work to do.

hey bigracer
i'll post a clean 3 lapper tonite tuesday pm
and it better be faster
maybe i'll try jake's setup for a couple
while posting wk 132 replay
the dirty 3T3 was 109.793 dirty

Maybe I found how to cut 0.8 sec a lap (2.5 sec overall, more or less), but I lost the car 2 turns before the end of 3rd lap... :grumpy:
For people using DS2 controller, are you using TCS or not?

Gigiumba

Finally!!! 3 clean laps in a row.
------- T1 -------- T2 -------- T3
Lap 1: 22.385 --- 43.704 --- 1'05.783
Lap 2: 22.461 --- 43.880 --- 1'06.014
Lap 3: 22.435 --- 43.953 --- 1'06.140

Should be able to lose at least 1,5 seconds in total.

Yeah, I'm having issues too, last week the brake would come on when I was hitting the gas, and last night the throttle stayed wide open at the last turn. I've already opened it once, I'm thinking it's time to replace it (DFP or G25?)

First splits

22.702 44.832 1;07.233
23.036 44.942 1:07.213
23.165 45.211 1:07.395
1:08.903 2:14.985 3:21.841

Using 220 - still not sure what's best, tried 240 but needed to upshift at awkward points, 220 seems better but not ideal. Might try 250 or 260 to match the gearing better and eliminate a shift or two

this may or may not be a stupid question but is there an easier way to get sector times down instead of pausing after each sector and writing down the sector time?

You can make your 3 laps, save the replay and write your times watching the replay.

For people using DS2 controller, are you using TCS or not?

Do not use TCS with this car, all the 4 wheels have traction, you won't need more.

I use 220 and only use 4 gears: 3rd through 6th. Using only 3 gears might not be that good. I'm happy with this gearing.

Nice photo Sjaak! and looks like a sweet combo. I would love to run this week, but work is killing me! Good to see you running here Kenny.. 👍

Well Steven,68 is my build year and the rally/Laguna combo is not driven on the UK lan event.

How ever you brought me on an idea for week 135.💡

Thanks for that.👍

And Jake,

Playing around with the gearing.
previous splits were with 260
220 sees me improving.

Lap 1 - 23.460 / 45.642 / 1'08.433

Lap 2 - 23.563 / 46.258 / 1'09.565

Lap 2 - 23.426 / 45.729 / 1'08.921

Still can't find my DFP:grumpy:

no real improvements but all clean
240 top
tried 230 but watched ghost say bye bye on back stretch
so far 4 me @ 240 no shift all of back stretch to cork and
6th gear max on front
of coarse i'll play w/ that but wanted to get clean laps posted
L1 22.879 44.777 107.897
L2 22.971 44.982 107.233
L3 22.901 44.534 107.325
1'08.751 2'14.293 3'22.455
:mischievous:
ps i think the math is correct
does the leaderboard calculate those automatically ?

Getting better, just learning to use brakes correctly... i think i won't change my 220 gear. I only have issues at turn 6, just before the Rahal Straight. Too much speed loss, fighting understeer.
workin'on that.

anyway, that is:

L1 0.23.251 0.45.059 1.07.753
L2 0.23.157 0.45.509 1.08.328
L3 0.23.383 0.45.752 1.08.996

Thanks to Clemi_Uk for telling me how to delete the ghost while driving... it was very helpful!

L1: 22"758 44"826 1'07"056
L2: 22"632 44"552 1'06"779
L3: 22"604 44"472 1'06"946
I tried 220, but times were higher. I'm using 240 and sounds good to me. I'll test 230 and no TCS.
