Great idea!!!! now i'll be able to show off just how slow i am:) NY isnt on my fav circuit list... and i gotta do it twice:crazy:

...maybe i'll just submit ealy this week with my combined 6mins and look forward to week 135:lol:

Cool idea Sjaak 👍 I would have prefered taking my pick of one to run reverse but I see the point in this too. I just ran about 10 laps in the nsx and I like it, have not tried the skyline yet but I'd guess the mr will be faster for me. I'll be back soon with some early splits.

EDIT: ok, here is my first session with the nsx, I'll be back with the nissan in a bit...

26.481 / 1'00.241 Honda Mugen

:cheers:
Erik

AAaagh, tricky tricky Sjaak ;) at first I thought I would never get the nissan going, then I realized a few things and cought it up right quick. 👍

26.481 / 1'00.241 Honda Mugen
26.822 / 59.958 Nissan Zexel

board initiated
request to all drivers - please post your t's with the honda first and the nissan second, possibly in the following format if it's not too troublesome:

<lap t1="26481" t2="60241"/>
<lap t1="26822" t2="59958"/></driver>

thanks a bunch.

i'll stick to the updaterering this week cos i really dont like NY. never mind, next week'll be loads of fun unless it'll be at grand canyon :)

dont know how to shape it anyway so any suggestions from the pros are welcome:)

I think it's like week 133, we're adding again times from several laps. But now it's only 2 laps instead of 3.

Nice combo, I get a feeling that I already know which car will be faster:sly:

Interesting week again, Sjaak 👍 After 3 laps with both cars:

NSX: 26.274 / 59.723
Skyline: 26.577 / 59.951

At the moment the NSX is seriously the faster one of the two. Let's see if it can hold the lead during the week :mischievous:

For the notorious one:

<lap t1="26274" t2="59723"/>
<lap t1="26577" t2="59951"/></Hugo Boss>

Excellent, this is great info Hugo, I will try 3 laps in each car and I will post my time as well. I hear you dominate in the LAN racing as well. I want to see how far behind I am. I'll try this real quick and post my 3 lap progress 👍 muhahaha....

Got the nsx down some last night.

26.269 / 59.895 Honda Mugen
26.822 / 59.958 Nissan Zexel

<lap t1="26269" t2="59895"/>
<lap t1="26822" t2="59958"/></arora>

I suppose that, since it's a city track, we can use all of the track. I mean, we can cut some of those 90º corners, right?

Top speed 300 for the Honda, 280 for the Nissan.

Honda:
26.278 (26.1)
59.720 (lost up to 0.3)

Nissan:
26.561
59.713 (also lost a bit here)

My Honda is faster by 0.249, and this difference will probably grow, because I left more time with this car on track. It's not easy to drive well at the beginning, we have to understand how to work with it, in opposition with what happens to the Nissan, that's easier to control.

Yes Carlos,
the walls are boundaries enough.

What about the tarmac on the inside of the second to last corner?
if you know what i mean.

Now you tell us :P my runs were clean as a whistle, then again I guess I can pick up some easy time now :dopey:

If we're allowed to go everywhere, then it's legal, but I don't see any benefit on using that part. By the way, I did not understand yet whether it's better to go flat out for that corner (braking from time to time), or just control the throttle at around 100kmh. Further testing needed.

What a fantastic idea Sjaak

The WRS is 938 days old, and yet you still have something fresh for us to try 👍

I will have a run in them now, and see what i can get, but i doubt i'll even post T's....

The guys round here are very fast these days

<lap t1="26561" t2="59713"/></CMir>

thanks a bunch guys for the luxy format t's posting, but the </driver> code is supposed to remain so in luxy :)

the board. interesting that the current last one has a fastest t1! 👍 way to go erik!

O.K., after 2 more laps in the skyline (ok 20 ;) ) got it down a little more, used 290 gears. I'll be back after I work on the nsx a little to catch it up. Fun week Sjaak 👍

skyline 26.314 / 59.547

26.217 / 59.438

I prefer to race the Nissan over the Honda, yet the Honda has slightly faster splits for me, I see lots of time still up for grabs and can see a T2 around 58.9 being a realistic target by the end of the week. GL everyone 👍

sorry I deleted my Nissan time as I made an error and never put it at -6 :dunce: I will post valid splits for that tomorrow.

Sorry guys, but my Honda is 1035 kg, not 1025. Power is correct (484 hp).
Does anyone have the same values?

Gigiumba

Ive had enough already...

Well, ive done some driving, and for tonight, i wont be doing any more.

You guys are just too fast sometimes, and my patience trying to match your times; wears thin.

Still, i have managed some reasonable splits for a driver who rarely makes an appearance:

26.536/59.496
26.650/59.487

<lap t1="26536" t2="59496"/>
<lap t1="26650" t2="59487"/></VEXD>

As you can clearly see, im all over the place, and faster at one point, in the Nissan :yuck:

The Honda really doesnt like running the kerbs, and IMO yields faster laps if they are avoided, with the exception of two, (the exit kerb on turn one + the exit kerb on turn eight) which aid pivoting of the car.

The Nissan :yuck: on the other hand gives me great big phat wheelspin if i run these kerbs, so i dont. To its credit, the Nissan :yuck: does pivot tighter on the throttle than the Honda, but my avatar shows which side my bread is buttered.

Good luck with this patience tester everyone.

If only the exit onto the main straight was flatter....

:irked:👍

Ok my first splits

Nsx= 26.438/ 59.707
Nissan= 26.504/ 59.708

And if you really wanna help it should be,

<driver name="Ren-Tec" division="1" controller="1">
<lap t1="26438" t2="59707"/>
<lap t1="26504" t2="59708"/></driver>

LeaderBoard

Diggin' the nsx at the moment 👍 I've had a few 59.4 and 59.5 and still my fastest lap with it is from a 59.75, so I'm runnin' runnin' till I get it, I'll have my new splits up tonight. Using 310 I think, and I'm about .25 faster then with the skyline.

What is all the complaining about VEXD? looks like to me that you are on the top of the board after only 1 session? :P

EDIT:

<driver name="arora" division="2" controller="?">
<lap t1="26314" t2="59584"/>
<lap t1="26314" t2="59547"/></driver>

Funny to have the same t1 with both cars :dopey: and the first lap is with the nsx and is about .4 faster then the skyline, still on the case.

I've run ten laps in each car after a dinner party: two woodfords, three glasses of red. :crazy:
Oh dear, look I've got the bottom again..........can you imagine.:dunce:

Honda: 27359 / 63591

Nissan: 27035 / 64033

Steve I hope I got the format correct this week.:nervous:

well it's not my style to throw times in early but it is a slow monday night. i think i am going to start running the skyline before the nsx in my outings. definitely understeers way more than the honda, although you can brake way way later in the skyline which i really like! anyways first goal was sub 1.01 t2's and i hit those so next sub 1.00's. i'll have to give it a couple of days though. i always seem to improve after taking just a couple days off.

<driver name="mtbiker157" division="2" controller="1">
<lap t1="26603" t2="60660"/>
<lap t1="26886" t2="60723"/></mtbiker157>

Can't race this week. I have not Loctites (neither Honda nor Nissan) in arcade mode, Just Pennzoil. Do I have to complete something in Gt Mode to achieve these cars in Arcade?
So disappointed!!!

<driver name="arora" division="2" controller="?">
hi erik, why is your device a question mark? it usually says "2" meaning you're using a ds2 - correct?

Honda: 27359 / 63591
Nissan: 27035 / 64033
Steve I hope I got the format correct this week.:nervous:
it's ok ron, but if you wanna really help it should read:

<driver name="gtbadboy" division="3" controller="2">
<lap t1="27359" t2="63591"/>
<lap t1="27035" t2="64033"/></driver>

but it's cool 👍

<lap t1="26886" t2="60723"/></mtbiker157>
hi bikerboy, thanks for the help but your line should read

<lap t1="26886" t2="60723"/></driver>

but thanks anyway to you and all others in trying to make the updaterer life easier :cheers:

the board

Im lost at this track! Tried the stiff as hell nsx and got my t1 down to a 26.3xx with relative ease but all these 90 degree turns are playing havoc with my t2 splits. maybe ill sit this week out and wait for steves gtr combo at le sarte. Sjaak, pick 27!

Normally means you have to buy them in GT Mode - at a cool 1.35 mill EACH.
