GT4 WRS Week 14: "Italian Golf Course"

after a 0´41´0 T1, i only have a 1´07´5 T2... that´s were i´m screw up my lap... does anybody know the secret for that part of the track? the 2 fast corners right when the T2 time appears on the display maybe? 💡

just don´t know... but after that i´ve managed a 1´41´4 on T3, so i´m loosing time on that damm T1-T2... just don´t know why... :ouch:

Well done!!!

Now work on getting 94-95MPH thru the twisties on the hilltop and you'll see another second or two drop off.... hurry!!!

95mph!!?!?! lol, i struggle to top 85 round the right hander. just cant get the turn into it right after the quick left.

Its the long right hander into T2 that kills us all.....

Im only guessing, but you can get a very different line round the left hander after T1, and that leads to your line round the right hander leading to T2, so if you get one wrong, you get the other wrong, and you get a bad T2.

Try to drive right into the right, staying as close to the right hand wall as possible until the front end gives way and you start to drift out to the outside wall.... at this point, dab the brakes, and re-apply the throttle to gain the line back out of the corner which gives you the greatest exit speed.
You should be trying to just miss the left hand outside wall as you drive out of the turn.

damm i was stupid... now i´m at work and there´s nothing i can do with the time... still, i think i can crack a top five on div2...

well, if a have time after work i´ll try that anyway... just to feel better with myself... 👍

I find that, start on the left, turn into the right and then left off the power when you cross the middle of the track, and then tuck the nose back in....
 
flat-out for the left, then off the gas - quick tap of the brakes, then on the gas again around 149km/h in the middle of the left-right

i hope that made sense, ive been workin since 6pm.... its 5:11am now im freakin tireD!!
 
I really didnt enjoy this combo. I must've only done about 8 laps and got very bored. I hope there's something more fast and fun for this week.

Oh, this WRS i got some schooled again. Didn´t get a good time, had just today to play it, so i think i couldn´t be that fast with just 1 day of play(3 hours). But that´s ok i will have to submit.

T1 - 0'40.755
T2 - 1'06.733
T3 - 1'40.618

I´ve been able to shave a lot, but i have to work today and i couldn´t sleep further 3 am. But that´s ok, i will try to play it earlier next time, and not in the last day, but i was oblied, as working is a sux thing that doesn´t allow you to do some of your pleasure things that much.

I love your english man, it makes absolutely no sense at all..... a bit like my brazilian.... what language DO they speak over there anyway....

Ilove the fact that the only thing out of your entire post that i understood was the fact that in 3 hours you can absolutely kick my a$$.

Another week is over, another time has been submitted.

I am not quite satisfied with my run this week, I left at least half a second on this track: did my best time with a T3 of 1'42.1xx and a few laps later I have seen a 1'41.3xx but the lap was a little dirty.

I tried to replicate that T3 but with no results... I just could not find a consistant way of doing the couple of curves between the downhill section and T3...

Hopefully Week 15 will be better - faster car on a faster track :D

I thought it's more like Spanish ... if you can speak Spanish you can go anywhere in South America ... I guess my Afrikaans won't help me much there haha ... maar wie gee om

Did some laps on this week's race, but could not hook up my best dirty lap time into a clean lap ... At least I've got a time to submit, had T3's in the 1:42.5 region I think ... so I'm bottom of Div. 2 it looks like, yeah, I dig it :ill:

yes, we speak portuguese here in brazil, but its not the same portuguese they speak in portugal... get it? well, almost... :)

i´m also guilty of not knowing how to write in english... :dunce:

Like i said, theonly point i really wanted to make was that i spent quite a bit of time, (though i doubt it amounted to 3 whole hours) doing this race, and he had a go on a new controller no less, and beat me into the ground, and then a bit further.

There's just no competing with that is there.....

Glad we have these people on the BC5 team.... i know we have one of the best chances.

how much longer are we waiting, too long and i may call it quits for the night and check up tomorrow..... well i started in a blue one, then a silver, but my fastest time came in a red one 👍

man that´s scary... the red one was really my fastest... beating the black and the blue one... just don´t know why... i guess red is easier to see on the track... 💡
 
No wonder my time sucked crap, I used the black one ...

I'm hoping for good ol' Deep Forest or Trial Mountain this week ... can't believe we have not done a race this series there ... ? Or am I sleeping ...

Oh yeah, we did Deep Forest reverse in the Lotus ...
 
Red requires less processing power to produce on the screen....

Its always a faster car.

Your tv makes red dots on the screen whether you like it or not, its the other colours that require some thought by the ps2, and the tv.

Hence, slower car.

Yeah, like a Viper ... nice and scary stuff on Deep Forest ...

For me, the most enjoyable races are with normal street cars ... but it seems they are the ones where I do the worst ... or probably all the races I do. I'd dig a race with a VTEC ... of any kind ... but then everyone's gonna complain about understeer haha.
 
Yeah, that plus the fact that the VTEC isnt really represented in GT4, i mean, the cars are there, but the noise, and the acceleration increase arent...

Yip I agree ... I've had 1st hand experience of the "banshee wail" a VTEC makes ... and it's certainly very impressive ... when my car starts loosing boost, yours starts making serious hp's ...
