damn this is slow, I cant help but think that CFM only chose this because he has a MX5. I was rly hoping there was gonna be a race car on a fast track this week but instead we got the complete opposite .

This sounds like an interesting race.

I don't particularly like the track - too claustrofobic for me - but I had occasion to practice it way back when the WRS Warm-Up Races were done while the official version of the new WRS was yet to be finalized.

I am going to give this a try tonight.

Anywho, I hate road tires, but have yet to drive a car this slow on them, so we'll see how it goes... Not a fan of the track really, but I haven't spent much time on it either... Hmm, let's see...

Relax, Androoos. This week we will be posting on "What did you learn?" thread that we learned that slow racing can be fun sometimes! And that you should by all means avoid to use road tires

And it could be worse... we be could looking at a WV old beetle race @ Nurb... times would be submitted using light years as unit.

Not enough power to make the course overly-hard.
Not a slow enough car to make the race boring.

Indeed a nice pick.

Also, to make things more interesting for me, the miata is the exact miata I bought as my first miata in the game.

It was a serious workhorse for me.
However, it was a GT mode race modified miata with an ugly spoiler and tons of mods.

The spoiler just didn't fit the car, but other than that it was a really, really nice machine.

Ran more laps with series improvement. I didn't think I'd get this fast on this course.

Eh i've ran 6 laps so far and i've only had one clean one, and I know I can improve that time, but this car understeers so much it makes me cringe

Ss my best so far, (I had a wonderful 1st sector) but I really effed up the 2nd sector. I could have my T2 be 1'19'9xx.

Oh, btw, Luxy: I am division 2 and I use a DS2.

EDIT: Well I cut a lot off of my total time with an abysmal 1st sector, genius 2nd sector, and mediocre 3rd sector... I know I can get an awsome time, but I just need to weld all these good secotrs together!

Yeah, aria is anoying the first few times you drive on it... but once you get it right is one of those tracks that gives you a really rewarding feeling.
especially in the reverse direction, tearing down that hill toward the hairpin at break-neck speeds is so much fun.

Not that I expect anyone to in any way cheat here, but how are you going to enforce the weight limit when it can't be viewed on replays? Especially with lap times that will be very much varied.

Anywho, I like the concept here. I doubt I'll get to drive it this week, though. School hasn't even started and I'm getting busy. At least it's my last year. w00t!

Love the track, not sure about the car. But I'm guessing it's the closest thing to the Mazdaspeed MX-5 you have, eh, CFM?

Also, I love the way this car handles.
Suprisingly I have no problem with the road tires. I expected the combo to be harder with road tires but it seems the miata goes well with them at this tuning level.

Regarding Todd's miata...
I can't speak for him.
But...
I'm willing to be his miata is actually a whole lot quicker than this thing when in stock form. In fact, the Mazda Speed Miata is one badass ride.

Anyway, you guys and girls have fun with this combo.
I will be around throughout the week.

I was just joking, a lot of people do the whole CFM un abbreviation thing. And I have the right to express my opinion which I did by simply stating that I dont particularly like this combo. Sorry to upset you dude.
