So you're not leaving?
As for the leaderboard, I didn't add your times, because you don't like to be on leaderboards, right? I thought you eschewed that whole 'competitive' thing?
You seem almost too happy to hear a hint of the idea that I'm not going to be around.
In all honesty, that's often what has kept me involved (I love to anger those who dislike me).
(plus, I've been here for over 2 years of WRS racing... a few attitudes and misconceptions aren't gonna push me away
)
Also, I'm not interested in the competitive element, no, not really at all.
However, say I was to get some great t times and they were not marked in the leaderboard...
Later that week my times are still being submitted but someone who's looking at the leaderboard thinks they are safe because they don't know about me.
Now who is that hurting?
Certainly not me... Hell, it gives me an element of stealth.
On the other hand, the member who races harder when they see competition...
I'm guessing they would get the shaft when they think they are sitting safe by themselves on a certain position then out of the blue an unlisted racer takes that spot.
Plus, you're confusing my desire to be left out of the "dynamic weekly stats" and the leaderboard.
See,
I don't like being listed in a long term leaderboard because of the way it promotes the idea that each week is connected.
In my opinion, the WRS is a weekly spot race series with no common theme running through each race other than the obvious.
To me, each week is a new week and in that, a new oppurtunity to do well or poorly... To skip out cause you don't like a combo, or to dedicate more time than ever because you love it.
Week to week and day to day.
That's the way I race and live life.
Sorry if that offends you.
Btw, the more I see how little you like me (think you called me a drama queen in the other thread), the more I want to hang around and just pester you to no end.
Does my mere pressence offend you?
In any case, I would love to hear from you in a PM since this stuff is a bit off topic.
Would you care to write one?
I would love to hear what you have to say.
Until next time,
-Kent
