I've been checking some replays yesterday evening :

NielsG : OK
Electric....... : I can't check your replay, it seems your NTSC. Somebody else will check it then, or else if you're PAL please post your file again.

And now the bad news :nervous:

Randymcchickenf's lap is unfortunately not clean, and has therefore been DQed.
Here are some pictures of the last 90° turn, which clearly show that a 3rd wheel (rear right) is not in contact with the rumble strip anymore :

This doesn't affect Rob's promotion to div 1.

its all good rob. ur stil in div1. i got dq and got in div1 too! dont feel too bad!
i think fastj also had it happened to him as well.. has anyone else got dq'ed and got promoted in the same week?? a bit of wrs trivia?

If no one else has done so beforehand, I'll check it out tonight. He is NTSC.

What's this? The promotion hall of shame?

I'll try to post my replay up sometime today. Even though I'll probably never be requested to post my replay ever again, I'll try to make it a habit, because afterall, my runs need to be clean also, even if I don't get podiums anymore.

Bad luck Rob, but you're still in D1. 👍 Consistency pays off :)

As far as replays are concerned : Casio still needs to post his, Electric's is posted and needs to be verified and I just took a look at holl01's which is clean.

After having watched replays for three weeks (about 15 replays), I can already see a big difference between fast and super fast drivers.
On a fast driver's replay, the lap looks 'normal', as if I had run it myself... Except that's the lap time displayed in the end is a few seconds faster than when I run it myself :dopey: .
On a super fast driver's replay, half of the turns are 'borderline' and I need to freeze the replay to take a close look under several angles. Holl01's replay at the Ring required about 1 hour to make sure all 174 turns were clean. :boggled:
But that's definitely a good way to learn. I'll have to load them sometimes to learn the racing lines :D

Yes that's the best (cheapest) one. That worth the investment IMO, since you can watch holl01 replays when you have one
Or else, perhaps you live close to someone who already has one ?

.....im spechless... Realy sorry everyone, i was so sure this was a clean lap, i guess i must of missed that...im sure i checked that was clean, it was the corner before t2 i had doubts about and needed to check (it was clean)....hmmm....o well, sorry guys, wont happen again....man im confused.... :S

No sweat, people make mistakes and champions learn from their mistakes.

It can happen to anyone really. Slight offs can be tough to spot. Especially when it's a wicked fast lap. :D: Try using the high overhead chase cam(the 2nd one) to help spot potential offs and touches. For me, that view has been the most telling. If you see something even close, then start photo mode and analyzer at that spot to verify.

Now that you are in D1, you will be posting more replays, so that should help you learn how to spot your mistakes easier thru experience. But even so, there have been some very experienced racers that submitted dirty laps and got called on it. It sucks!!!

You handled it well in your post. 👍 I'm sure the next one you submit will be squeeky clean!

that happened to me in the week i was promoted, and some guys were a little harsh (don´t remember exactly why), so, the best thing to do is to be quick in the weeks to come and everything will be fine 👍

well, we already know you, and you posted replays before, what happen to you its pretty normal, can happen to anyone, don´t worry about that 👍

You got caught, and now you don't remember why some guys were a little harsh? Nice.

no, no, i meant i didn´t understand the harsh words because i was misjudgind the replay, not trying to sneak a false lap. i bought a max drive exclusevely to play WRS, and i knew my lap would be verified. i just didn´t knew back then if my touch was a wall or a curb, so that´s why i ended up with a bad replay posted

Such things can happen to everybody.
It becomes suspicious only when it happens too often to the same person.

But usually people who try to sneak their time in don't post replays.

I moved Casio's under the "Unofficial result" section until he's got the replay device and can post a replay.
I also adapted the results on the points board.
