Nah, it's all good man. I just sat down for a bit, and yeah, there's no way I can compete, lol. I can't say that I gave it my all on the other days though either, because along with the PS2 I just bought, I got NFSU2, so I've been playing that a little bit too. Maybe next week, or in two weeks we'll be able to have a real go at it... 👍

nice splits there fasj8, and from sphinx also. i submitted my lap a few days ago, cant wait till the upcoming rally combo, i hope it is at grand canyon, which basically will be a track that is completely different to everything the WRS has covered so far, and this is a good thing. well good luck in the results everyone who participated in this highly enjoyable combo, 7 cheers for flatout!

Hey Kyle, is it just me or are you always geting sick? That really sux man. On a brighter note, I just got a job on Evergreen Parkway, but I dunno if I'll take it long term or not, I may get to work at Tektronics instead.... we'l see...lol. Did Pat get all his cars yet? Oh and I hope I didnt come off like I was ranting about my suggestion, just my opinion is all.

well going on previous posts by Flat-Out i know how fast you are this week, so DAYUM, if i could have made Start-T1 work i reckon i would have have been RIGHT up your behind, or maybe even have an inch of my snout in front, i am fairly confident that i have you and hOt6o4bOi in front of me... not sure about sphinx though, but i am hoping i have cracked a podium finish in Div1 this week... *fingers crossed* not bad for a Div 3 starter

As for the driftiness of this car, I totally agree, I spent last night drifting this beast and I got a nice drift sort of like Small_Fryz' link he posted way back in this thread, so I'll be posting my real lap and my drift lap tomorrow.

I'm also submitting my time, although my T2 looks good my finish is not brilliant, but that last corner is tough to get perfect so I'm relatively happy.

Good to see the whole OLR world competing this week too

i am fairly confident that i have you and hOt6o4bOi in front of me... not sure about sphinx though, but i am hoping i have cracked a podium finish in Div1 this week...

My last sector was slow so you should be OK for a podium mate. 👍

funny thing last night, while i was still trying to figure out T1, that i found extra reasons to like the erratic but at least existent tuning of the GT mode.

the CZ-3 has a tendency to snap on hard braking and also to understear in hard accelerations... so if this was GT mode, the first thing i would do, would be turing the ASM on...

can´t do that on arcade (i know i can, i´ll get on that later)

the other option is the TCS that limits the power on the exit of corners and also has efectivness while braking!

but those options take some of the power of the car, so sometimes they just make it easier to drive, but slow...

my best choice, in all GT mode combos, is to tweak the LSD settings... the LSD accel always manages to correct the behavior of the car...

not a big deal, but just something i found last night that can exemplify why some of us like the GT mode.

still i did try to turn on the TCS and the ASM in this combo. but when you turn in, (in arcade mode) its ASM at 10 and TCS at 10, so it takes to much power...

in the end i played a bit only with the TCS on, and it really help to correct the snapping of the car, to help me with the lines for a later session with aids off... my time with TCS was 0´2 off my best... so those things sometimes help you in other aspects of car... like TCS for better handling, not always that idea comes to my mind...

Wow, great to see close racing. I'm glad that I am at least semi-competitive in D2. (I gotta stop trying to compare myself to the D1 guys though ) I'm looking forward to the next race, and the next one after that.... This keeps me going while working on the road! 👍

Nah, Notice the topspeed I used? Although it was a good topspeed for most of the track, it wasn't ideal for the last turn and therefore reduced my time by .100 compared to a 290 topspeed setting.

I played a lot with gears and noticed a lot of tradeoffs between 270/80/90/and 300. Didn't even think to go 4 speed!

Well, I'm gonna have to scour Ebay for more monkeys. I think mine are all dead from last night and my last ditch effort before work.

We had a major snowstorm yesterday, so no last ditch monkey magic from me this week. I worked in the office all day yesterday, then it took me 3.5 hours last night to get all the snow cleaned up at my place, then went and helped my neighbor dig out. So by 11 pm last night, I was one tail-draggin' pooped pup!
