Make sure you all are running the REVERSE version, maybe that could account for those low t-times. I also tried the rubmle strip trick but it didnt work much with this car.

After you finish a successful session with the BC race, take a half an hour to get a time for this race. That's what I'm going to do, hopefully I'll shave a couple tenths... Then maybe later in the week take another half an hour or so. A half an hour here and there can't hurt. Just don't plan on needing to race SHig... Seriously though, we need to do well considering how well Fabio did...

Sharp right hander is first corner yeah? Id hate to be running the wrong way, lol. I cut my time down by .036 with a t1 of 20.934, I just cant seem to get the whole lap correct at once, which shows how little ive played gt4 recently, the whole lap is essentially 4 corners!!

Corner one, brake for the inside as you turn in, try not to loose the back. Move out slightly still braking until you hit 125mph 4th gear, then accelerate away, hitting another apex and narrowly avoiding the wall on the left, then back to 5th.
Corner two, brake a car and a half's length from the end of the shadow in the tunnel, steer hard right, down to 3rd gear 85 Mph, accelerate through apex and T1 trying to stay as far right as possible back to 4th for a moment before....
Corner three, brake down to 90Mph 3rd gear, accelerate through the apex and miss the grass on the right narrowly, back to 4th gear at 150Mph.
Corner four, stay very wide left, turn in and brake simultaneously to 145mph hit the apex and accelerate out, stay in fourth until 200mph.
Corner 5, what corner? just dont crash stupidly

I use gears 440, softest tyres of course.

I'm at 22.472 but that was on Soft tires and not Super-Softs. I'm sure that will cut some time off.

Turns out I was using the wrong tire combination: T1 - 20.792

.1-.2 left in it, saw a few 20.6's

seems not much but my laptime is improved by a full half second.
already told darren by msn to keep practicing as well ... this makes the second half of d3 (called 'd4' ) a fun department to be part of!

You should probably change that leader board to 20.992 or something a little higher than that

whoops, I wasn't running super-softs. it was worth about 0.4 seconds at T1 for me

new split time = 21.749

I have that same wheel which I take out from time to time. Cheap and effective, dropped my qualifier time by a fair margin with it. But I hate to take it out, set it up somehow and being extremely uncomfortable in my sitting position... so the DS2 still does it for me

If I make enough money to buy the car, I'll get in on this combo. High Speed Ring is pretty cool, only 4 corners to worry about like someone mentioned. Can the car be won anywhere?

T1 - 21.394 With a great finish to boot. Took off 3 tenths off my final time from t1 to the finish .

i dont understand people that dont have cash to buy what they want. its simple enough, i'm not too good at gt4 but still have plenty of cash. if you need any tricks just say the word...

Perhaps people who are at 20% because they decided to start a new file? They don't feel like winning the Toyota RSC 20 times... Maybe they just like buying cars that are fun and practical for different races instead of going through the game solely on prize cars.

You just kind of get to a point where you realize that hoarding all of your prize money and never spending anything until day 694 is really not the most fun way to go through the game.

I don't have gt cash because I never play GT4 without it being OLR related. I'm still only at about 48% done since the game came out. Not even sure I completed the S license yet. Thx for the reply though.

... and what's so sacred about the 4 black cars? they look nice but their coloured brethren are faster and also buyable (see below).

i hope no-one anymore uses that special condition race as a milkcow while dtmm gives so much more, and the endurances also if you have a bit more time.

i would never do that my friends. i know my limitations but i'm proud to know i reached my 96% all by myself (and my good friend bob off course).
