This week will give our brains some rest. No tuning, no opponent, no understeer to deal with...
Just you, a 3.6 liter V8 behind your shoulders and rock walls all around :mischievous:
Well, that sure sounds easy! (EDIT2: Oh man, HARD TIRES TOO! Oye. I think TCS will be on for me this week for sure)

Uhm... Not really, because that 3.6l V8 is a BEAST and this car weighs NOTHING. Lol, sweetness. Haven't had a chance to race, but I hope to later...

EDIT: wow, page three already and I haven't even tried it yet... :(

I'll be using TCS for the first half hour or so, so as to warm up my fingers and find a proper racing line.
so flatty is actually racing this week? surprise-surprise. looks like he's got his work/private life sorted out after all ...

Races 67 and 70 are ready to be posted.
I'm still busy preparing races 68 and 69 (and that's taking a lot of time), but I've already tested enough to be able to post the races without further testing.
So yeah, I'll try and get my DLBF position in div2. :sly:

Did some warm-up runs, having some understeer problems but they'll be fixed when I get used to the combo.

I have been drifting Supra's and Vipers whole week

...

Man, I'll post some times up later, just those last drifting laps

There you go Neil. How do ya like that?

Hope you're getting plenty of practice in this week? I've already got the next one planned. :sly:

This is my first WRS event, I'm racing in division 2 :D. I'm finding this one relatively hard though. May keep trying till the last day.

Take all the time you need Ben.
The deadline is next tuesday 9pm GMT (should be 10pm in the UK if I remember well).
The race is hard, but not really complex. The track is flowing, the car handles really well. Once you have the racing line and the braking points you just need to avoid wheelspin and put together 4 fast sectors. :)

Lol thanks for the advice. I am 4-5 seconds slower after T2. T1 is fast enough, 12.5 seconds, but after T2 I'm on 56-57 seconds. :indiff:
Practice makes perfect!!

12.5 is pretty fast for a div2-er first run. Take a look at the board (link T times in my sig), you'll that it's about what the div1-ers have run so far.

Hmmm. Perhaps I may get to Div 1 one day-my times aren't too far off theirs. I think I could get near the top of division 2 if I keep trying. Thanks for the tips Flat-out.

I actually ran Trial Mountain in a Group C last week, to get used to technical tracks/sections in on high-hp cars, as a warm-up before Le Mans...

When is the last day to submit scores?

Cool combo. Nice title too! I haven't raced this in reverse for awhile, but it's much better this way IMO. I never noticed before that there's a blimp floating above the track... It would be cool to get a camera view of that vantage point in the replay :)

The series is weekly and the deadline is always on tuesdays, 9pm GMT.

@Jake : the blimp has been here as far as I can remember.

Yeah, I think it's funny. Even though it dissappears behind the rearview mirror on Normal pretty fast (as soon as you start the downhill)...

Blimp.....eh......where..?..?

Oh yes, never seen that before. :D

No clean improvements yet but there out there. Been getting consistent 36.xxx T2's and loads off my T3 time. Keep cutting the second to last right hander too much though, that corner seems to get me every time I get some decent splits. :banghead:

Either that or I just clip the grass with my outside wheel coming onto the start/finish straight sending the car off at all sort's of funny angles. :)

Back soon with (much) better times. 👍

Can you see it going forward? Funny I never noticed it. Don't really know why I was staring off into the sky while doing 150 mph though... :dopey:

First runs:

T1: 12.898

T2: 35.901

T3: 53.886

Div.2 with a DS2 that is 👍

Looking good for the moment, I drove a 12.410 earlier today but I screwed up the lap after the second bridge :grumpy: It's quite hard to get a fast and perfect line there 👎

Got about 20 min in on this one just before heading out the door to dinner, I figured out T1 but the sweeping right I lost about .3 there and my final sector just after T3 in the tunnel my tires squealed like crazy and lost another .3 there...good fun tho! Oh and TCS is on :ouch: :dunce: lol

T1 - :12.570
T2 - :35.576
T3 - :54.238
Final - :yuck:

My little sister would be all over this race, she really likes this car and track:).

Forget that, I AM all over it! As my sig says, I love this car, and love this track! This was the first track I drove on, and this is the first car I ever drove so this is the perfect week for me:D

T1-13,103
T2-36,854
T3-55,418

It toke me awhile to get this time.

Here are some new times.

T1-12:548
T2-35:207
T3-53:328

I think i'm about maxed out, I will try it later.

Well I was going to try to do some more runs today but I just broke my controller and i nthe process of fixing it the L2 & R2 buttons are dont work as well. So I will have to buy a new one. Making this my 3rd broken controller. The sad part is that I had taken really good car of this one :(

my controller used to get so screwed up. right before I got my dfp the left analog would stick so it would just turn left almost all the time. The R2 and L2 were also broken so that I had to push really hard to shift. It is kind of ironic that in the box of the dfp was a mint controller.

Well this one was treated well It was never thrown or smaked against anything because It cost too much to do such things. It broke when I pressed R1 too hard playing Tourist Trophy. Although right now bad controller and all I am beating my ghost in some sectors so I may be able to save my 24.99 USD.

Sorry to hear about your broken controller, TeamLosiRacer. Sometimes speed comes at a price.
But you've put in some very fast times so far.👍 👍

I have some great news! I finally picked up a DFP!! The one with "GT" on it! :dopey:

It's super accurate and smooth. So far it's cost me about a second in this combo, but I have a grin on my face like you wouldn't believe. My Wingman was great but this thing makes GT4 come alive!

I also picked up one of these seats. Now I got some decent back support. YES!!!
