ive never tried any setups before, usually its out the box, performace mods and im ready to go, but im sure the people who are up there have some experience with setting up a car properly for a certain track

First of all, you aren't allowed to post your final time in these threads, so go back and edit that out real quick...

DS2 is the Dual Shock controller, and DFP is the Driving? Force Pro steering wheel. 👍

When you're done racing for this week, submit your final lap time along with your division and name to Cyril(flat-out), as it states in the first post of this thread. Also make sure you've spent approximately the same amount of time as you would during a week's race on the qualifier and have that submitted to Cyril as well.

Had a 20 lap session but couldn't beat my time....i dont understand how i can be behind so many Div3'ers (and not just by a little bit, im almost 2 seconds behind MINICOOPER120!!!) Are you sure you guys are using racing hard tires? lol

It's very likely that he didn't spend NEARLY as much time on his qualifier as he is on this race. That will work it's way out, eventually... In the meantime, I wouldn't worry about it too much. 👍

Thanks Brad. After seeing wk75 I went and got a start on that, as you can see if you go over to that thread, and I submitted to Cyril already... I might go back and give it a try with your settings and try for a resubmission, but I won't expect anything.

Edit: Oh Brad, come on now, I can't use stability control or TCS, it's against my religion! Lol. Well, sometimes when required, but I don't feel like it. Thanks though!

I fractionally beat my lap time yesterday by .006 with slower splits throughout the lap apart from T3

Cyril, my best ghost currently has a 4-wheel outside the track - on the outside just before the double-right, on that black substance. I think it's tarmac, so I saved it over my older, 0.9 slower ghost... Is it safe to be there?

Standard clean OLR rules :

• 2 wheels on track at all time ;
• rumble strips are part of the track ;
• any tarmac, concrete or cobblestone area is part of the track.

I remember one week ago how happy I was when I saw that Cyril decided to let us drive the Caterham... And I must say that I enjoyed driving that car, but I just couldn't drive it fast enough.
