GT4 WRS Week 75 : "Hong-Kong King"

If I could run this at the moment I would be running the Chevelle SS454.

When I 'did have GT4' for a little while, I ran the Chevelle and Charger around some tracks in Arcade Mode - (although at stock power, no adjustment on weight or power) and found the Chevelle to be way better than the Charger.

Wonder what it would have been with these adjustments? 💡
 
And concerning your sig, Smallhorses: Div1 is Blue, Div 2 is Orange... So either Division Blue, or Division 2 - not both :P

Actually, it was both! I put the Blue in there to distinguish my regular blue Driving Force wheel from DFP users, while I am racing in Div.2, however midway through this week's race, my blue DF had had one brake pedal repair too many and finally gave up the ghost. So.... I've now changed my sig to reflect that I've now joined the ranks of DFP users! 👍 Bought it on Thursday of last week! :drool:

No further improvements for me, and no more time to race. Time submitted.

Metar, you know you were saying nice rounded numbers? Guess what I just got :D .

T1 - 30.000 (Have seen 29.5)
T2 - 1'04.000 (Have seen 1'03.5xx)

I swear these are true! I just seem to like this combo more than I thought, mainly 'cause the Stingray is nice 👍 .
More to come yet, as you can see by my 'Have seens' .
the chance of getting that again is 1/10000 lol, u probably should have save the replay:sly: nice 29.5xx split u said u saw, mine was a 29.435, seems as though ur loosing a bit in T1-T2 though

How's the difference between them? No more funky kangaroos with pogo sticks?

You're probably the only one not submitting a 'Vette or Charger lap...

Yeah I am. Having seen what you do, I can't seem to keep up with it from about that hairpin area, the rest I keep up with you on. I tried first gear and second there, but I can't seem to do it :indiff: .
Time will be subb'ed tonight.
 
I can do only one thing just like Holl01 managed - crossing the s/f line at the same speed. Heck, the only time I was a little infront of his ghost was when I forgot to brake.

EDIT:

Officially, I joined the clean 1'04 club.

Corvette Stingray, 333HP, No aids, Manual.

0'30.526 (Used the line suggested before for the 1,2,3 corners. Had a Holl01-ish 3rd corner, only 3KM/h slower, and a slightly early-brake after the straight. 0.4 in there for me)
1'04.818 - Oh yeah. Got back on the power a little late after T1, and also dropped below 40Km/h on the hairpin (I usually do it at 45-50KM/h). Had a nice exit out of the hairpin, good braking after the straight, didn't hit the hiding thingy, but got back on power a little late, again. 0.5 in there (for me).
T2-Finish - 0.7 Faster, which showed me just how much I lost there before. I don't think I lost more than 0.1 more than my absolute limit...

In your face, MINICOOPER, I'm within 0.4 from your time. And I still have 7.5 hours to work on the combo...

You simply need to tune it to -10% weight, and then figure out the power, since otherwise, the weight can be still -10% and 0% power, which would be illegal.

Yes, here it is (I had some problems)
PimpF - you're running the wrong power/weight figures. The C3 Stingray Corvette should be run at -5% power (333HP) and -10% Weight (1341KG), which is both better (improved PWR), and won't disqualify you (because the 1341KG can't be confirmed, you could be running 351HP and 1341KG, which is above the needed PWR of 4).

Ben - That's alright. I didn't run any ARS this week, so we're equal :sly:. Can't stand the combo, actually.


I'm absolutely killing myself on this (WRS) combo. Love it. I haven't done anything but biking and running this combo for the past days. I just wish I'll get a blazing lap tomorrow, like I usually do the moment before submitting. I've gotten a 1'04.3 today, and seen a couple of 1'04ers, but I still can't manage to get those together with a beautifull finish. Or perhaps Cyril will be kind enough to make the cut-off just below me, not the usual above me...

C'mon, be serious... You're messing with top Div1 times, it's no longer mid-Div1. It's getting dangerous. Imagine a drive-by shooting to prevent you from taking over, and the gateaway driver is some Holl01 or Shockwaveracing...


And Colby: Holl01 ran with the DS2 this week...

My T2 time broke the 1'03 barrier.

T1 - 29.7xx
T2 - 1'02.999

I know it's not really beatin the 1'03 barrier but :sly: .
Finish okish.

Splits slower, final time faster.
