Some new splits for me:

T1: 0`30.114
T2: 0`57.548

Pretty happy with that 👍

Just spent a little time on it. Kind of messing around with tunings, here's what I have so far. On a track that I still despise, although not as much as I used to...

30.313
58.159

EDIT: new splits

And for replay HP, does 466hp seem to be what you guys are running?

easily the most frustrating race in a long time, the car is a dog to drive... anywayz some splits to start off with

30.253
57.662

probably another 0.5-0.8 left in it for me...

Colby, your setup looks like the most extreme ever...

BTW, I improved some more, now I've got a x'xx.000 lap! Setup is now more "extreme", I'll try Weary's out, later...

EDIT: Weary, what about springs? Stock?

more extreme fiddling to the car brought me a t-2 under the minute mark ...

31.266 - 59.608

whoa i beat ron in luxy's - first time ever i'm ahead of a div1 player on the board.

when i get the braking points right it'll get better over the week tho.
who's doing a stiff setup? i get faster all the time whenever i soften it up more.

29.502
56.642

sweet T1 but pretty average after that except for the last corner which was nailed. sttings went something like

6.0/3.7
108/76
2/2
2/2
2.3/1.3
0/-2
2/2

bb- 3/3
tranny trick with final at 3.791 and 5th gear to .961
weight balance- 37
lsd- 5/40/5
aids- none
time submitted- yes

description- 1st corner brake at the second marker down to 3rd as u turn in to the apex, accelerate out at high 70's km/h. next right left can be slightly drifted at 110 each, the chickane is a bitch and a half but can be taken in 4th with a couple of timed turn in semi drifts maximising the road (aka using grass a little). brake slightly after first braking marker, down to 3rd at 73 ish, next fast right can be just lifted a little no brakes, the chcikane 110 and then 105 on exit, then 70 forleft and the last corner 61km/h in 3rd, 2nd not required during lap

Just ran a few more laps on this and badly miles off the pace until Kel told me its Motegi East Short Course :dunce:

I have been racing on Motegi full course last night and tonight :ouch:

What a pillock 👎 ...... I'll be back :dunce:

edit: few laps on the correct track and I'm at .... 30.1 / 57.7 :) will chip away at it soon 👍

Well I tried beating my lap for an hour or so and couldn't. I'll tinker with my settings at some point and try again. I quite like this car though, it's neat 👍

Board Updated

*Weary Forehead Slaps himself*

My car had lost almost 20hp due to dirty oil :dunce: New splits:

T1: 0`30.065
T2: 0`57.172

Another 0.55 at the line so pretty happy 👍

Board Updated

I just completed a few laps and im sucking at this combo. I wont bother posting my splits yet because im still a few seconds off the pace, but i will give this another session tomorrow.

Amazingly it was faster without the wing...

T1 - 29.664
T2 - 56.245

Uf, a LOT of space there...
T1 - 30.991
T2 - 58.855

The last corner gives me too much trouble!!! But it looks easy...

Board Initialised

* Why do I feel like a post whore every time I make one of these posts? *

You're providing an essential service Colby and don't you forget it. 👍

Some more times to add to the list.

T1 31.094
T2 59.615

Still plenty of tweaking to do with the suspension as the cars still a bit too unpredictable in my hands at the moment. I might give MisterWeary's settings a go as their not too far off my own at the moment.

Darren.

Ok i got some new splits using the default suspension
asm 1/1
brakes at 6/6
Holl01's gearing
Cheers for that holl, it seem to work slightly better than auto to 11:cheers:

T1: 30.526(.234)
T2: 57.908
:dopey: :dopey:

Uh, I think I'm not going to race this week. Something about having to hit the brakes before even the rubber braking areas just rubs me the wrong way... And I'm tired, and something else has piqued my interest.

I know you tried to limit the power this week, although that may have been in the hopes of reducing costs of racing this week, but I think maybe even stage 1 NA tuning may have been too much for this car on Sports tires. Seems to grip decently well though in a straight line under acceleration, but yeah, under breaking, yikes.

I forgot to add my setup.

It is exactly the same as Colby's but the front springs are down to the lowest setting (4.2?), Stabs 1/1, Camber 0.8/0

That's it.

Don't wanna be Mr Smartass but...
  • oil change + racing exhausts + port polish + engine balancing + racing chip + NA tune stage 2 (497 hp) ;
  • weight reduction stage 3 (932 kg) ;
  • no NOS ;
    [*]no wing ;
  • any sports tyres ;
  • all other parts are allowed ;

Casio has already said he took the wing off and improved 👍
Blistering lap from Brad by the look of his splits 👍
I may snatch Brad's settings and have a pop at this myself, haven't had much time of late.

Don't wanna be Mr Smartass but...

That's not like you Cyril? ;)

Newest splits. I've had about three faster laps in between my first lap and this in the last hour or so so hopefully I can continue to improve over the weekend. :)

T1 30.601
T2 58.476

Used Holl01's posted settings with slight tweaks here and there and my own gearing. Cheers Dan. 👍

Darren.

Whoaa, I'm so much behind everyone. Even Steven's 2 seconds away. I mean, Steven being faster is becoming pretty common, but 2 seconds means I'm a Div4 bronze, at best :P. I think my settings are pretty rubbish...

And this week is as dead as a squirrel.

'The Shadow': "I'm gonna kill you like I killed that squirrel."
Blackadder: "What squirrel?"
'The Shadow': "That squirrel."
*Shoots at the sky*
*Squeeeeek*
Blackadder: "Ah, that squirrel."

God, I like the tag.

T1: 31.024
T2:59.146

I gotta check if it's clean though, I watched the replay as I typed this, so my best lap may have been one of the ones I screwed up on, I will find out in a second.

Don't be suprised if I don't do many races either, I have to spend time catching up on my percentage.

Yep, clean, although in a few areas it looked like a drunk monkey was driving. Expect more.
