I can do that right hander full throttle as long as all the aids are on. I don't understand how you guys are driving the thing without aids. I've tried it and its just so much slower around turns like the double left hander.

I had a few laps with TCS and ASM to try it out, and I was easily a second slower. Whenever I turned they just scrubbed off so much speed. I was so much slower on the straights, too. I’m half impressed that you can get the times you’re getting with aids… :indiff:

Wooo new splits baby!

I forgot to mention in my last post that I absolutely fudged up the T2-Final sector, and lost about 2 seconds.

T1 - 35.043
T2 - 1'10.501

~2.5 seconds faster at the line too :D

I've finally returned to my PS2 today, but it was "busy". First laps of this combo are about to come...

Woah, missed out next week. I'll run some laps but as usual, I'll get pwned

Fun combo though, if I'm correct, I think I remember almost the identical combo in the licenses, am I correct?

Yeah, it's almost identical, although in forward...

0'36
1'15.05 so far.. Lots to improve, But at least ahead of Steven.

I had this creepy T1, the car "flipped" backwards on the first turn... It was amazingly fast, but the rest got ****ed up.

Addicting combo, and this NSX makes such wonderful sounds...

EDIT: Wrong car. I took the Purple one...

0'35.761
1'12.817 right now, with the Yellow Takata

Just done 7 laps with this car, which is quite bumpy :irked:

T1: 34.580
T2: 1'10.013

Very fast combo, treachorous bumps though...

D2, DFP

Spent a bit of time on this earlier. Now overall best splits are:

35.024
1'10.048

But I can easily see getting another .4 off in the first sector, maybe .2 T1-->T2, and another tenth in the last. So if I can put everything together, I think a sub 1'09.5xx is very possible.

Nope im sad to say that iv hit my T1 bubble, my fastest was a 34.356 and on my best lap i did a 34.426. So all in all i don't think i lost more than .1 on my best lap. If i could do a faster T1 i could get a faster lap, cos i can't go no faster any where else. My best T2 was a 1'09.22# but i tapped the wall out of the loop. Over all im well happy with my lap so far :) :)

I use the DFP and sometimes I think I'm either not turning the wheel enough or i'm turning it too far. Its hard to tell if its pushing because you yanked the wheel to hard or because you're going to fast.

Finally, I made some progress:

34.783
1'09.957

.4 at the line

I'm happy with my lap so far, considering it is my first ever time with the DFP, but I can just feel more speed. I've seen faster T1's and I have managed to take that uphill corner flat-out.
*Fingers-crossed* :D
Also, Colby, you've missed my splits off the leaderboard, Mr Moderator/new race steward sir.

Figured I'd give this a try while I'm waiting for the next TT racing series to start. Submitted a Qualifier time the other day, but don't know what Division I'm in yet. Comparing what I've managed so far for this weeks race (0'37.216/1'14.413) to the Leaderboard, I'm guessing I'll be somehwere in the middle of Division 3.

Yes you send them into Cyril unless stated otherwise, and he'll be here for the results post on Tuesday, he's a very punctual guy, and is nearly always on time.

Hello! Just a question: we must send our times only to Flat-Out? He's still offline...(((

Yes, once you're satisfied with your lap you PM your final lap time to Flat-out. The deadline is still more than two days away though so there's no hurry :)

Hope you're right, Ben. By the way: my T1 is 0:35:032,
T2 is 1:10:845. Not too bad, I think. With 2 hours of driving... Good Luck to you.

Yep, just send him your time regardless of whether you have a division...Cyril will sort it out guaranteed 👍

New splits for me (good luck chasing these Ben :sly: )

T1: 0`34.550
T2: 1`09.227

Board Updated

Damn thy MisterWeary!
And to think I was just behind you with my new DFP!!

Great times buddy, well done 👍
And guess what, you know our little problem with the leaderboard? It's fixed now 👍

Yeah I opened the Leaderboard to put my new splits in and all the splits from like post 80 onwards were gone??? So I re-entered them all. Have no idea what happened but hopefully it's back to normal 👍

Nice to see so many drivers still racing the WRS. Great Series!

Haven't raced GT4 in a long time. Now that I have some time I'll give it a shot. I'm still listed in Div2 (my Qtime was set back in WRS week 6 or 7 it think). I'll see if getting older helps... hehehe

Times to be posted soon.. Good driving to all!

Small improvment for me.

T1 0'35.475
T2 1'11.223 (Had quite a few high 1'10's but they keep distracting me for the last corner. :dopey:!)

Still a very messy lap but I've cut .7 off my final time now maybe a bit more'll come off with one of my legendary last minute Tuesday night sessions? ;)

Darren.

Nice one SH.
I had another go at this with my DS2 and absolutely hammered my DFP splits (and time) by 1.3 after only 7 laps.
No splits posted for it though as I'm gonna stick with my DFP lap :D
