Suprisingly not. Even with +10 I pass everyone before the firs corner. I don't have time to even get directly behind anyone, let alone have it affect my times. If only the game could figure out that only race cars will be competitive. Strangely, the game won't put a race vs road in arcade or family cup. A NSX race car with -10 in arcade yeilds old rally cars, rather than road cars.

Yeah, I wish it would put you up against race cars with road cars because than I
could race them with my Suzuki GSX-R/4. Now that would be fun.

after letting it lye for a little while - finishing arc and doing some license silvering - i got back to fuji and retried. guess what: gained a full 1.2 secs at the finish! great combo colby.

21.363 - 40.474 - 0.56.752

gonna try more but this will about it for poor old me. i will never find 3.3 seconds to get close to minicooper this week.

there's a small bit left in it, I may come close to Andrew, but I think the limit is only like .07 - .12 at the very most. I'm literally sticking to the chair from sweat when I race this (partly because the sun is shining directly on me) and When I finish and lean forward, I can feel my shirt stick to my back. I hope I can get a bit out of this by the deadline.

I only had problems when difficulty was set to 0 'cause next to me was the ZZ II, a car that has great start (4WD), so sometimes I'd crash into it. Otherwise I "smoke"'em 200m before first corner; I think we all do.
I hit the NOS when i shift to 3rd gear, my wheels sometimes start to spin if I hit it in 2nd.
And where are all Div1 drivers???

Probably quietly being pissed about the n2o and taking a week off if I had to guess. I don't mind the nitrous though.

Hi all,

This is my first post @ GTP and so my first race. I've not mastered manual trans yet, so all my times are AT.

The Audi LeMans quattro is a great car to drive, bit tricky on Fuji speedway 80's track, but once you find the right line it's great fun.

1st Lap:

T1: 0'25.055
T2: 0'44.176
T3: 1'00.909

2nd Lap

T1: 0'21.777
T2: 0'40.947
T3: 0'57.939

I found setting up the car that if you have the front height higher than the rear slightly then the car goes faster on the straight.
Nos does help when you have low revs, I like it.

My car setup is completly different to whats been posted before so I will have a go at some other settings. Looking at the split times posted I'm not doing too bad with Auto trans. it would be nice to see some splits with my setup from those who can race with manual trans.

I put difficulty at 10, then it was easier to drive through all the cars without too much change in direction.

I never tinkered with the suspension, thus never came to grip with the understeer.

T3: 0:59:132

Second lap:
T1: 0:20:776
T2: 0:39:424
T3: 0:56:169

Can't say I love the car but I've get in touch with it) Can do each T3 about half a second faster, but can't complete clear laps...(((

Tried some of the settings posted previously and found on the last corner if you let off a touch it brings the car nose back inline:tup: , quite good , but couldn't match my first lap times , so I tried combining some of mine and previous posted setups and came up with a faster total time, but was slower on the first lap but slightly faster on the last lap than using my first setup:idea: .

T2: 0'44.321
T3: 1'01.652

2nd Lap
T1: 0'21.475

I recomend keeping it as default and not using the sticks at all. Most people use the cross hair and buttons, works for me

Using 40-45 NOS. But unfortunally this can't last long. You know, using 50 NOS I've get 0.23.932 on T1, and 0.20.6xx on T1 on lap 2))) Great T1s and good T2s after that... But there's no NOS on both T3s. And what about you? Showin' great time through the whole race... Are you using 30 NOS?

can't wait to check out minicooper's replay because he's the fastest div3 performer in any wrs week i've ever seen. not that i don't trust his specs but just to learn how he did this incred fast lapping.
also i'd like to say welcome to yellerbelly and mk1 to wrs - great to have you around in div3 in times when so many others in our kindergarten class sadly stay away.

Yes, brakes, suspension, weight reduction, all of the stuff like that.

Haven't been able to put any laps in since Thursday. I guess it would be wise to finally get a lap in that's worth saving, since I'm at the top of the Div 2 leaderboard...
