am feeling really hollow about this weeks race, put another 20 minutes and to this and am just frustrated at how slow i am going... am just not enjoying it at all and am deriving no satisfaction from the fact that i can maintain zero consistency in this car, so i will submit my time from my first set of splits and look forward to a more enjoyable race next week... TIME SUBMITTED

Same here - that 1'58 I posted turned out slightly dirty, in an unexpected place. 1'59s are the best I can manage, but with bad finishes.

And 1'52s with cheating :P

Also a misfit promotee?
Sounds familiar. That's the story of my week.

Of course, with a bunch of not-quite-snow this morning, I'll get some more dirt practice.

I had the thought of turning off the force feedback but forgot to try it. Has anyone gotten faster by doing this? I just hate using the DS2, just doesn't feel like racing, although it's probably the faster choice this week.

Splits for my latest clean lap.

0'44.381
1'23.113
1'54.156

I hope to get another go at it later tonight.

A quicker lap and some quicker splits from me

44.900 / 1'24.215 / 1'55.524

Lost about .3 in the last sector and about .3 in the first 2 sectors :(

But nevermind a .500 improvment on my last time :)👍

I have not posted any splits up until now because I could not get anything clean done. I kept getting frustrated with half-hour sessions that gave me no clean time. It was yesterday when I finally decided it would be a decent clean lap or bust and I have really been busting my ass all day today. Along the way, I figured out some interesting things about how to take the corners. Mainly, carrying speed through corners isn't half as important as hugging them tightly. I ended tonight with a clean lap but since I'm not posting the splits until way late in the week, I think it is only fair that I post it with more than a full day left. It seems pretty underhanded to just sneak my lap in while I have used the split times of others as a guide.

T1: 44.857
T2: 1'24.057
T3: 1'55.350

That's all I've got in the tank without driving myself crazy. I'm submitting my time right now. Good luck to everybody trying to shave that last few tenths and yet again, I absolutely marvel at how good the Division 1 racers are here. I'll definitely take some of what they're smokin' 👍

I'm going to start my first session in a couple minutes... I'll let you guys know how I fare. 👍

Time submitted. MisterWeary, Lotus350 an FinaL ExaM all look to give me a good fight. :)

Cheers,
Jetboy

Well done, Jerry 👍

I never got a chance to have another go, so I'm submitting my current time. I'm happy with it because it's smooth and clean, even if it's slow :P

0'44.253
1'23.195
1'54.155

Submitted. It was a good combo ... hopefully we'll see more like it :D

I absolutely suck on dirt, and I've got an AWD vehicle in real life :dunce:

I can't improve on my almost-certain-dead-last time cleanly, so time submitted. Now watch, I get called for the random replay check.

I didn't run enough this week to be competitive :embarrassed: Had a blast with the combo though, thanks for the dirt Jerry 👍

45.045
1.24.724
1.56.702

Subing this time.

Almost forgot that deadline is at noon...:ouch:

Time submitted, didn't do anymore laps since Thursday!

Good luck to everyone and thanks for a great rally race!👍
