So for the week I'm going to spend my spring break in London, you throw this at me? I think it's official, if I want a superb race, I have to be away from my PS2. I might be able to get a few laps in before I fly out Wed. afternoon, and after my two finals tomorrow. But we'll see....

What can I say, other than have a good time in London. ;)

Test Session Splits:

0'24.511
0'58.161

A few laps and this is a really sweet combo 👍 I will defo put a good effort into it this week! my first splits are..

24.216 / 56.900

Loads of time left and I look forward to chipping away at it 👍 great choice yet again Jerry! you are on a roll if we just imagine the corsa round never existed :sly:

Laters

 I love this car. I'll have to race now. No matter what. :D AWESOME!! I'm all hyper right now. :D Sorry bout that. I'll get a few laps in tommrow. I have to remamber that I'm in Div 2 now. :indiff: I have to race to see if can even keep up. :D I'm going to get my butt kicked for sure. Oh well. Laters.

Sammy :)

Very witty title too :sly: I'll get some laps in this arvo perhaps 👍

24.352
56.665

Seem to be hitting the correct braking points so I'm not getting annoyed with any corners. Nice combo

Should be fun. RSS aren't my thing, but I think those old Le Mans'ers really need 'em. Never cared much for the NY track, but this car looks suitable for it. Best thing should be the sound of the engine, though 👍

First splits:

T1: 0`24.726
T2: 0`57.916

Dunno what to aim for but I'm enjoying the extra power this week 👍

just borrow a PS2... mine is broken since a long time ago... i´ll do everything i can to have a few laps and catch up with the old friends from WRS...

killer splits this week. here's a set for the bottom of the board.

25.030
58.457

Good to see you back buddy 👍

Had a go at it this afternoon. As usual I"m in everyone's rearview. Sure is a great car to drive and if I ever get the break point figured out before and after T1 I suppose I'll post a decent time. :ouch:

T1-26.011
T2-102.061

Good enough for the bottom line no doubt.

My brake points for those two corners are the following:

Hair pin turn 1 - Right after you turn the slight right to head straight for the corner there are two cross walks and the words bike lane on the pavement. I use the third crosswalk as my brake marker.

90 degree right turn 2 - There are some orange signs with black arrows on them on your left and right after you pass under the green sign that says 200m I use the second one and there is also a line on the street at that point.

Hope that helps. :dopey: I am not the fastest time out there but I am only down a couple tenths on that first section.

Take my advice at own risk!! don't know what I'm talking about really :dopey:

Try using 3rd gear for all the bends and just brake early enough, power through quite easily if you have broke early enough :) Except the S section towards T2, might need a bit of 2nd gear there ;)

"...631" :

thanks for the break pointers. I'll give those a try later tonight after the "Better Half" watches "Idol" at 8pm. 👍 :banghead:

Can't say as I'm very quick either but, some of these guys are amazing! I marvel at their ability and reaction time.

Well I didn't get any laps in like I said I would. Figers :banghead:.
I'm having a bad day. My BF broke up with me, I'm having my... oh wait nevermind, no one wants to know that. And I feel like crap. Stupid me.

Sammy
PS:
If I get any laps in, they aren't going to be pretty. Sorry. :banghead:!

T1: 24.618
T2: 58.280

I know I can dive deep into '57 territory, possibly very high '56's, but as it stands, I keep attacking the corners one at a time, as opposed to keeping a steady momentum. :grumpy: Prolly going to try R4 rears...

Cheers,
Jetboy

Working on my corners right now. I used to work in NYC. This gives me a whole new perspective. Would have cut my commuting time in half had I used the GT40.

T1: 25.632
T2: 1'01.211

^^ 👍

Good to see ya in here Fasj!

And Sammy, well, now you're on to bigger and better things, eh? You know you'll have another, and maybe they'll realize what a treat they've got with someone like you... :D You should do some laps anyway, as they'll be a warm up for ya when you really sit down at it.

I hope to do some laps before I pack up for the night, we'll see. :)

Yeah I guess your right. Thanks KLR142 I needed that :). I didn't get a chans to get on before my brother went to bed. So I will work on it tommrow. And I give up on having a BF for now until I'm like 20. :D Laters.

Sammy

It's really not a bad idea... 👍

Down to a 57.7... Still cleaning things up though, of course, gotta get around the somewhat quirky handling.

And I'm definitely glad for the RSS tires this week... 👍

24.414
57.028

I'm using 330 gearing, for what it's worth, and using second gear for everything that's slow.

6 gears and GT Mode would be nice to fine tune things, but you can't have everything! :)

T1: 24.666
T2: 57.457

I'm pretty happy so far. Could use a little more front bite... Just a tad understeery.

Cheers,
Jetboy
