GT40 No aids lap

YAY, we got the old GT40. My dream car. In honour of it's introduction, I went and did a few laps with it in it's true form, stock with no aids

GT40 - no tuning (not even BoP) - No aids at all. No Abs either. Stock SH tires. I use a Dual Shock. I should also note that these are not grip bug v2 laps. I was putting down 1:56's lap after lap. This lap won't set the world on fire, but it's decent.

I know there's a bunch of people who say certain things are "impossible" without aids, so I shared the lap in game for those who want to view it and see what I am doing different. You can see the inputs, braking, etc.

This car is super fun without ABS. It feels so truly old school!!!

It was my first purchase and drive of the day (after touring the track in the samba), shame it's not the race version.

I haven't tried it without ABS yet

I've not hooked it up to my laptop, but apparently it can be used for **** other viewings that apparently women are really into with VR?

I took the GT40 out for some stock laps of dragon trail. It is so much fun to drive it's unreal.

Admittedly I was running Sports Medium rather than hard, but even so. When it starts to slide it's just serene and controllable. So much fun to drive

I’m only just barely an in-game millionaire right now after the previous update and also wanted to get right behind the wheel of the Super GT NSX so I’m hoping for luck in the daily workout today or will have to wait until I have the time to put in the grind

awesome... and to think I spent yesterday grinding Blue Money bay on route to $20M... only to realize today the car is priced at a bargain $2.8M.
Yay, will be purchasing this after work and running the heck out of it at Nurb.

@Voodoovaj , nice lap, cannot believe you use a dual shock and as smooth as you do, much less at the pace you do.

I mentioned this in another thread. I took the new 66 GT40 and did my normal time trials with it. One track is all cars BOP and the other track is stock power. All cars are on Sport Soft Tires all assist off but ABS.

The GT40 completely stock on Sport Soft Tires all assist off but ABS and it completely crushed every cars time trial I have set in the N-400 N-500 N-600 classes. It's absolutely an awesome car and my new favorite over the Ferrari F-40.

If I want to listen to music I can turn the radio on myself..... please next time if possible without music so I can hear and focus on the car and sounds. And for those who want music they can turn it on themselves. Win win.
