Grand Turismo 5 being only months from launch are we going to see any progress at this years biggest consumer electronics show?

Surely not the Tokyo track again >.<

Man I hope so, same track since GT4, I am sick of it to look at, althus its a great track. I would love to see a demo with rolling over cars and damage with full 16 car grid. Not to mention confirmed Day and Nigh cycles, rain effects can come in later.

SONY and Microsoft are both missing from the list of exhibitors:

Since GT3 even :scared: I'd hope for a new track, oh and not Indy either hehe.

Consumer Electronics Show.
But that also includes video games and we already got some interesting stuff in the past (like 3D gaming).

Sure it also includes gaming to a certain extend, but its basicly about the hardware and new technology. 3D gaming was shown as a part of the 3d technology.

Yeah definitely, i dont say we will see GT5, but its a possibility (3D, headtracking technology etc.).

EDIT: Damn.

It wouldn't surprise me if GT5 showed up in 3D form; we all know Sony is moving into 3D; it would make sense for them to show 3D TV's, 3D equipped PS3's. Sony showed 3D games at last CES.

I can't see that list as being 100% accurate. I don't see Echostar (Dish Network) on that list. They are at CES every year. Especially with the new DVR ViP922 coming soon (after being announced at 2009 CES).

It would be nice if there is some GT5 stuff there, but I wouldn't count on it. Gaming used to be at CES and now we have E3.
