hi jamieSTEEZ. i'd like to register for the upcoming BTCC series you're holding. are there still places available? and is it just a case of adding you on PSN, choosing a car and turning up?

I was doing a bit of racing yesterday against a RM'd DC5 and I have 1 small concern. Though I was faster in a staight line, my Volvo C30 cant keep up in the corners at all due to the presance of downforce increases on the RM cars.
 
Kona - that is something like the point ;) [It was my DC 05 - Now Matte Black]

Each car has its strengths - lets see how it plays out in a bigger group...

Also get the Racing soft tyres on your C30 ;)

Yea. I got my times alot closer after some minor adjustments. I would buy race softs, but im concerned with the front tire wear since my car is front wheel drive. so im gonna stick with the mediums so i can keep my front grip.

And im Really looking forward to a race with more people. The one series i was in before was Non contact. So im looking forward to some bump and grind.

When is the race today?

I'm working on my 135i tuning still...hope to see you guys out there tomorrow (or today, for you guys).
 
I've given in and gone for the Integra RM. It's just so light, which is a major factor in performance as we all know

What time we on for the trial race tonight?

Yep Tyre wear in online races :)

Depends on how long each race is - if they stay relatively short Racing Softs should be ok ;)

Jamie - will we be running more than one race, like the BTCC meets.... ?
Normally 2-3 races if I recall...

Chance I will be late for tonight's trial event; the Faceoff for the Ice hockey has been put back an hour!

I found out I have double header today and I am booked for 4 consecutive Sunday's at the same time as the race. :(

confirming what Kona said - the C30 did need a bit more juice to keep it involved ;)

Or that he didnt drive too well ;)

fair enough!

although i did get very close laptimes with 330.

but yeah if it means more people using different cars the better.

im bored of integra, too easy to drive!

may use either civic or bmw next time.

and thanks for showing up you two!
 
lol. dont get too worried about people showing up. we race > people will come. the best i did with 330 hp is a 1 37.1 with 360 i did a 1 38.5 . its just that i was having some huge trouble under braking with all that power. that and i upped the braking power which caused lockups in the front. i am looking forward to racing with you guys more.
 
Good racing today. I was a bit disappointed with how much ramming was going on. Hopefully we can get some cleaner drivers for next time.

we had a race with Malc , Coey and Paul that looked like a legitimate Btcc race. lots of smaller bumps. i think only one person really got rammed. it was me running malc a bit hard into the chicane on the last lap for 2nd. he still managed to make 3rd place.
 
I (Paradigm77) was only able to run a couple laps during qualifying...seems like everyone was running Integra RMs. I was in the green 135i...
