What PD should do is, starting right now, they should subscribe to DuPont Registry, and keep a copy of it in their bathroom. This should give them an idea as to what cars are desirable, and then they should also check those fine Auto buyers books for classic cars, and see what they are missing. I mean come on when I played GT2, my DuPont seemed like a strategy guide, being as how most of the cars in the book were in the game.

Where did the vectors go, and what about those crazy turbine vehicles, who wouldn't want to drive a Rolls Royce turbine powered fire truck around the test track, or even better a turbine powered viper.

I would also like to see vehicles from American Tuners, Like: RAD RIDES BY TROY, or even some of the STRYKER stuff. Again DuPont introduced me to these 2 companies, and they turn out vehicles that nothing less than stellar.

Rad Rides By Troy Site: http://www.radrides.com/home.php

Stryker Site: http://www.svspower.com/

Any game company that picked up these 2 would be my hero.

On the muscle car side, having been a teenager during this era,(showing my age) the following list of cars, which were kings of "Stoplight to Stoplight " and quarter mi. contests, would make for comprehensive representation. A few weren't too shabby on corners.
(some of these have already been mentioned)

68-69 428SCJ Mustangs
65-71 427 Vettes
68-71 428-429 Torino Cobras
70-71 440 6pack Cudas & Challengers
68-71 440 GTXs
70 454 SS Chevelle (inGT4)
66-69 396 SS Chevelles
69-70 428 Cougar Eliminater
69-71 428 Merc. Cyclone
71 Boss 351 Mustang
69-70 Boss 302 Mustang
69-70 Boss 429 Mustang
66-69 GTOs
68-71 Olds 442 & Hurst editions
69 396 SS Camaro
66-71 327/ 350hp Novas
66-67 Pontiac 421 2+2
68-69 340/383 Barricudas & Dodge Darts
63-64 427 Galaxies
62-63 409 Impalas
65 426wedge Plymouth Fury
66-67 390-427 Fairlanes
68-69 383 Roadrunner

If we're going to include trucks.. the Mazda Rotary Pickup.

Also, I'd like to see a 1st-Gen RX-7, and an RX3. They should also bring back the Mazda Cosmos, with the 20B.

And for ****s and giggles, I'd like to see a Chevy Cavalier ('03) and the Chevy Cavalier turbo Concept car ('04 I think)

How about a........Guldstrand Corvette? The one with the 427/700 hp mill. And give it some competition, the New Viper GTS.

I would like to see the 95 Olds Aurora V8, Dodge SRT-10, some more Pontiac (new and old), Cadillac CTS-V, STS-V, and XLR, Lincoln LS, and Ferrari cars (especially the 612 Scaglietti)

I'd like to see the new models of VW, they do look fantastic, maybe the scirocco concept becomes real!

Rear wheel drive nisan skyline
car
SKYLINE 25GT TURBO [ER34]
description
looks like a four wheel drive r34 but is rear wheel drive quite decieving. :sly:

no offense to GT4 which will be a great game but you would think that with all of the r34s they could have put this one in GT4. :grumpy:

sorry just like rear wheel drive even though 4WD still handles more predictable .

Plus more American,European cars of any kind but hopfully older models

What hasn't been covered in here. We should get somebody crazy enough to create a cumulative list of all that was said. I t would prolly take 2 games to take up this order. How about a .......ah, here we go...1974 Australian Ford Falcon

How about the POntiac Fiero. That was a very underated car with a good amount of potential. Certainly not a track beast, but fun to drive.

yessss its good to see somebody else wanting a fiero in gran turismo besides me. 👍
they could put in
'84 se(just cuz its the first year) (i have one of these for parts) :dopey:
'85gt (first gt and 6cyl) (thats what i have, they can use my car to test if they want!!!) 💡
'86 (first fastback gt)
'88gt (improved suspension)
'88 formula

or a more streamlined list
'84 se (for the 4 cyl)
'85 gt (notchback gt)
'88 gt (fastback gt)

1994+ Chevrolet Beretta Z26

1999+ Pontiac GrandAm GT

1998+ Pontiac Firebird Convertible V6

2003+ Mercedes-Benz SL500

(on more of a side note/wish list, I would like to see an option in the
car select screen to lower or raise the top of convertibles with
full correct animation :dopey: )

I figured the clickable thumnails would be fine, instead of links since it dosent take but a couple seconds even on dialup to show the thumbs, If the mods would rather me linkfy them, just let me know :)
your kidding rite?

GT5 car list? Already?!?! You guys really don't want PD's car modelers to get a break do you? :P

As for the GT5 car wish list: I would need to play GT4 first. ;)
