I have an 87 Fiero GT 5 speed and I want to drive it in the game. It's the only MR sports car ever made in America, why is it not already in the game. They have other Pontiacs so it would be easy.

De Tomaso Pantera, Ford RS200(probably not American), Mosler MT900S, SSC Aero SC/8T, Vector M12 and was the Bricklin a mid/rear?

I think PD did a pretty astounding job getting these cars in here. Even if your favorite car isn't in the game, chances are your 10 runner-ups are. I mean, they put the obsure Ruf Yellow Bird and Mercedes-Benz 190 2.5 Evo in here. I can't think of a game that puts THAT kind of spec-finding, physics-duplicating stuff to use. Classic 240Z, the list goes on.

If they spend time on the next GT producing cars like they did in this one, then GT5 will be released several years after PS3 launch. I'd rather have the same GT4 cars updated to match current models, throw in 20 more, then concentrate on making the game the online-racing-king-of-all-racing titles. And launch it right behind the PS3... Say it with me... no... one... needs... 700... cars...
 
Nobody is saying they are disappointed with the cars in GT4, its just that this thread keeps growing and who is to say certain cars don’t get to be put on the list.

I agree that we don’t need 700 cars. There are 222 cars that have less then 180hp stock in the game and I would trade all of them (plus about 30 skylines) for about 15-20 cars that I feel should have been included.

Hmm.. yes I agree with MCX & Syclone538 about there being a lot of cars, but like Syclone538 said a huge portion of those cars are "buckets" I don't know I'm not, I mean really not interested in driving a 1949 or whatever year VW Bettle. Or a '79 Skyline or whatever. What GT5 need are classics, but with style and speed not 122HP.. That's just lame IMO, I want Ferrari's, Porsche's, Lamborghini's Classics, with the speed and the exotic significance they resemble.

I Would love to see Audi Quattro rally version (1981-1984), Audi Sport Quattro rally version (1984-1985), Audi S1 rally version (1985-1986) and Audi S1 Pikes Peak (1986-1987).

update the rim shop...aside from BBS most of the rims are pretty crappy. also we should be able to "plus 1" the stock rim size on a car and see the difference

my favorite car is the Cat 7

The Cat 7 is in GT4

HOWEVER, I CANNOT USE THE SEVEN BECAUSE IT IS A "SPECIAL CAR"

ALL THEY HAD TO DO IS PUT THE TOP ON THE CATERHAM, AND THEN IT WOULD PROOVE TO BE USEFUL

DEATH TO POLYPHONY FOR THIS FATAL MISTAKE!
 
Call me ridiculous, but this is a car I'd love to see in GT5, since it wasn't in any of the others, and it does appeal to me. 1993 Cavalier Z24. It's not a fast car, but the car just looks beautiful. The sports package ground kit, the stylish rear spoiler with the braking light centered (Not the one with the luggage rack, that looks dumb). Plus, as a lightweight racer, it does have fair potential... And what happened to the '83 RX-7 Turbo? I didn't see it in GT3 or GT4.

more turbobircks (volvos), the 850 touringwagon is awesome.
mercedes and bmw are represented pretty good in this one, but i always want more.

aussie hsv cars commodores and utes. theyve been making them for years and they are all cool
hsv 427 at the least

more american v8s, 70,80, 90 camaros, firebirds, mustangs, capris whatever more.
and make them sound right for gods sake. i bought a camaro 00 ss in gt4 and quit driving it because it sounded so bad. get it right its not that hard.

how about the 84 svo mustang. turbo 4 banger, kinda crappy but might be fun to mess with for a bit.

Z-L1s camaros and vettes if these cars arent a piece of history i dont know what is, there more talked about than a 79 skyline i can tell you that much and they only made 2 of the vettes.

american lemans series cars. there area a few in the game but we need more.

1967 shelby gt500, or how about every cars shelby ever made, that would be nice, even the shelby dakota...convertible.

LEXUS IS430?? I don't think there is such a car! There's the GS430, SC430 and the LS430

There is, it's an aftermarket car where they droped the 4.3L V8 in to a IS300.

Very true. What's the point of not being able to race them. At least give us a "Special" series for these cars.
 
Don't know if anyone else had this idea. They need some of those hip hop tuners such as DUB in the game. Also put in spinners in the game. Put in about 30-50 SUVs and trucks in the game. I'd love to drive the X5, Cayenne, Touareg, and the new Magnum SRT-10. Also more options to customize your cars would be awesome.

It's and SRT-8 but yes I would like some DUB cars and damnit they need a Blazer!
 
'87 chevy monte carlo ss aerocoupe would be nice too. and vauxhall vxr220, they only made 65 of those.
