Man if it is push back that will hurts us. Jordan you need to find out whos this Gran Turismo Driver is.

I also saw it on psxextreme:

http://www.psxextreme.com/ps3-news/5231.html

However, they refer to a source called "The Cut Scene". I don't know how legit the release info is regarding GT being pushed until next year...

but since GT hasn't even been announced at E3 yet, nor has an official release date EVER been announced...I'll wait until tomorrow when HOPEFULLY all will be revealed...

This is getting more discouraging by the minute.

I call that two strikes, one to go.

Now thats a good point,MS will bring an system seller with FM3...

PD/Sony got to bring GT5 on august maybe... or late late after FM3... If they bring it with FM3 then I don´t think any 360 fanboy will buy a PS3 cause they got FM3 wich includes importand features...

MS did great with the october announcment... nobody has expected FM3 for 09...

you know, it really pisses me off that PD takes us for granted like this. I'm not going to get too mad yet, as there is still a good chance that we will see something tomorrow, but it's starting to not look so promising after all. however, people need to chill out on amar, he was correct if you really look at it (PSP GT)

As a loyal fan of GT since the beginning, I never thought I'd say this, but I'm starting to warm up to the idea of buying a 360....
You'll be sorry... ;)

Eh, I shouldn't say that, but you might. I sure was. I spent more than $750 to buy a complete 360 Elite rig - with that crappy 360 wheel - to play Forza 2. The hand controller was bad out of the box, and within two months, it was all dead. Typical Ms junk... And Forza 3 is just sounding like what forza 2 should have been.

Gah... I just saw the Forza 3 "stunt" video a bit ago. Painful...

I'll probably buy it too, but I'm seriously disappointed in Ms right now. Forza 2.1... meh...

We WILL be told SOMETHING. It may just be that we need to wait til TGS tho..

I think this will be where the big announcement will be made also since it is a bigger show for Sony. E3 is on Microsoft's back porch while TGS is on Sony's back porch.

F3 looks WAY better than that F2 and you havn't even played it yet, let alone even gotten any great indepth details of the game yet to be able to call it "Forza 2.1". And GT5 is sounding like what GT1 should have been too..

And you wasted your money thinking you needed to get an Elite.

I would be fine if details were released there, but if we see nothing tomorrow, it's truly pathetic. You know what, we should start a poll and see what we'd rather have between GT5 and GT Mobile tomorrow.

I for one could care less about GT Mobile. The concept is cool, and if it interacts with GT5 that would be pretty sweet aswell but I wont be buying it.

i would maybe buy it unless i have to buy PSP Go, But i just hope to God that we get GT5 stuff tomorrow. If we don't no, i'm not jumping ship for forza, NFS shift will have to suffice, as i'm not paying another 200 for the console, 60 for the game, and 100 for the wheel. 200+60+100= 360$ 360x1.13 (13% tax in Canada) = 406 dollars when i could just be patient and wait for GT5. Come on guys if you have a PS3 there's plenty to do while waiting for GT5, (Uncharted 2, MGS4, Killzone 2, COD MW2 in Nov.)

I too am a loyal fan of the GT series, but I don't consider having a 360 a betrayal by any means. As I've said on the GT4 forum, I have more hours playing GT4 than all other games combined.

I bought a 360 before the PS3. The only reason I bought the PS3 was to play GT5P, combined with the expectation that GT5 would be forthcoming before hell froze over. Compared to GT4, GT5P is a mere Hors d'oeuvre.

I've played FM2 somewhat extensively, but it has it's flaws and IMO is not up to the GT standard, to which I've grown accustom.

However when facing the prospect of no GT5 or playing FM3 as it appears that we now are, with a 360 at the ready, it's a no-brainer what I will do.

i would play FM3 if i had a 360, but i'm not paying 400$ to play just forza, as halo doesn't interest me.

Oh really. So you played Forza 3 already? Give me your impressions. ;)

Look, I have Forza 1 and 2. FM2 is a nice improvement over 1, but it's also way buggier, and FM1 had it's share too. Why? Turn 10 rushed both of them. It's looking like Turn 10 might rush FM3 for the holiday sales window too, and Ms is notorious for producing crapware that has to be fixed forever anyway.

What "way better" graphics have you seen? I've seen some game play which looked like FM2 with different backgrounds, some which looked like freaking Test Drive Unlimited!, and some which was obviously CG video.

I think you need to scope out that carbon fiber on the Audi R8 pic.

And look, there's nothing wrong with an FM3 which looks like FM2, as it's almost like Prologue in quality. It sure smokes every PC racer in existence. A hundred or more cars is good too, lots of tracks, assuming they're honest and 70 of them aren't variations of the above ground sewer of the Turn 10 Test Track. But being stuck with the same 8 car races is just lame, after hyping up their "from scratch" engine. I'm used to how Ms works. I fully expect the car models to be the same, and the Nurb to be the same fake smooth four lane highway.

I never said I did play it. Not sure where you got that thought from. I have seen the same stuff as everyone else and it looks way better than F2. Its obvious. On the Forzamotorsport.net Pitpass Report it is stated the pictures were taken back in MAY and obvious improvements will be made from then on just like any other game. But whatever, graphics are stupid to argue over as no one sees it the same way. But those screens are a lot smoother and clearer than F2.

The fact you casted the game off as "Forza 2.1" after viewing unfinalized product and no personal play time is what I have a problem with. Its like seeing a rough sketch of a portrait and saying the artist has no talent. Granted F3 is farther along than a rough sketch I would think you get the analogy.

Now if your at E3 and can say otherwise.. Please do tell. I will make my final judgment once I finally play it myself however. Until I do I will keep up on whatever Turn 10 shows us, the same with Polyphony and GT5. For all we know GT5 may suck when its released but no one will say until they play it.

Well, if Turn 10 is going to reveal stuff that doesn't really make anyone think any different, which I do not, then you have nothing to say except three little words:

"Just wait."

Well, okay, two. But I played FM2 in high res on my Bravia, and other than the CGI stuff, I'm not seeing anything. Besides, someone already called BS on Turn 10 releasing images in higher than HD resolution. Now, would Ms do anything like that?? ;)

Besides, honestly, I'm not too bothered over someone buying FM3 as a consolation prize. It might do for a few more Playstation owners to get a taste of what it's like to dive into the green pool.

I think Turn10 is still hiding some aces under its sleeves...

Over at NeoGAF a Turn 10 insider has been hyping "waterworks" for quite a while.. last post hinted at a special surprise for players at the show floor..

Maybe they are waiting for Kaz to show GT5 to make a weather announcement?
hmmm...

Turn 10 is the developers of Forza Motorsport

Maybe the watersports comments refers to fans drool?

I think the suprise on the show floor might be Fanatec Porsche Turbo S wheel with clutch and H pattern support.

I don't care if they say "it'll be out for Xmas 2010", just give us a date and then respect it.

We are the buyers, the costumer, the consumer. Disrespect or disregard for our expectations will turn in to people loosing interest in the series. And I see a lot of addicted GT series finding or looking for other interests already.

Maybe they will return, I'm sure I will, but that may only occur when the game price gets slashed in 6 months or a year, because meanwhile the budget was spent elsewhere. And that will not contribute to the games launch success, or the quality of online gaming.

If we don't get a date today, I'll take GT5 out of the budget plan all together. Not just the game, but also the project to build a driving seat, the new lamp for the video projector, and I regret having bought the G25 already. There were a couple of things I could have done with that money :grumpy:

I just want them to say a release date, I am sick and tired of not knowing and all this secretism, I do not care about FM3, GT Mobile, I just wanna know a release date.

If the XBOX360 would support logitech wheels, I will buy for sure that console. That would be a big move for Microsoft. I am serious, I have no hope on any announcements today about the release date of GT5.
