Damn. Now I am going to have to buy Prologue, there is no way NFS: Shift can hold me over for an extra 3-4 months.

I should just dangle a slice of pizza off a stick attached to my head and chase it around for a few hours until it's stone cold.

Think about it guys...this can only be good for the final product.
There must be a fairly important reason for this and its going to be all positive for the game.
I want to believe that too. :nervous: What bothers me more than the delay is the way we always seem to get these news: from vague articles written in Japanese! :boggled:

Is it possible that its written in Japanese because the Japanese release is the only one effected by this? lol

The rest of the world never even got a release date, so there is no need for a worldwide press release.

This is crap this is.. This really angers me very very much. I think these people must have all the patients in the world. I certainly do not!! I'm running out of patients very fast with this. I'm sick of seeing things like that and we get more negative news or no news at all than we do good news about the 🤬 game.

Sony are selling hype not games. I wonder what their games are like.
Joke aside I'm going to laugh my ass off if turns out they are delaying to fix the sound...
I don't know how am I going to get used to playing the game not discussing it.

The thing i that Kaz knows however much he delays it he won't lose customers.

Everyone who knows and cares that it is delayed (like us all on this forum). We will buy the game whenever it will be released. However we are the minority of people who will buy the game. Others who will buy the game have never known how long it has taken to make.

(Just realised that that might not be very easy to understand sorry)

Well, the article doesn't say anything about a worldwide release either, does it?

In the end we might realize we are delaying the game. Wouldn't that be sweet. Cutting the branch we stand on, or perfecting the game as we want it. I'm probably just dreaming.

KY he says he wont release a game until it's ready. Okay, when will that be!? Soon I hope.

The US release was already aimed at "summer", so I hope now atleast we have a world release (or close).

Looks like E3 we will be hanging for GT5 info at E3 again. (should be final version by then)

no it doesn't...

But that does not change the fact that the game has only ever been given a single release "date" and that was "March 2010" in Japan...everywhere else was still up in the air...

This press release is saying that the game is being pushed back IN JAPAN...therefore...Japanese...

Who's that one guy that's always saying GT5 won't be out until Christmas 2010?
Yogaflame? He doesn't sound so crazy anymore, does he?

I'll still wait for it and buy it. The wait will continue to be painful but in the end I know (and alot of others too) that it'll be better than Forza 3. So while the Forza fans are sitting paying us out about GT5 and its delays and so on.. we will be the one's to laugh at them when we eventually do get GT5.

He who laughs last, laughs the longest ;)

And the engine sound complainers...

Who knows what's up here. I say that they give us a Prologue update to tide us over. Maybe another demo. Something.

I wouldn't mind waiting three more months if the sounds are on par with beautiful GT graphics.

What a start of the day...
I just wished they were a little more specific about WHY it's delayed...
or HOW LONG the estimated delay would be...

Two-Three days ago in the interview translator guy looked pretty confidence saying:
Interviewer : ,,This game comes in march"
Translator dude : ,,No , that's only in Japan"

To say that the GT5 saga is getting hopelessly pathetic is just a lame understatement. Fail. đź‘Ž đź‘Ž đź‘Ž

A demo with more than a lap and 2 cars would really help us survive the wait. Especially if it has the online modes.

Jesus Christ! What a way to start the day! :ouch:

What a way to start the day for Aaron Greenberg!

First wind whispers that final reunion will happen thirty nights before twelve months pass and that all winds from the whole world will reunite in the same moment for the first time.

What happened to this one? First it was December 2009, then March 2010. Now what?

This is probably just an elaborate prank by Kazzy. He's going to look at our shocked faces for a minute, then say "Gotcha!!," then release the game next week or something. You got me Kazzy!

I hope we get some solid news as to why they are delaying it.

An update to prologue would really help the wait go by faster.

Only thing I would accept as a reason for the delay is if Kaz got a letter from Porche yesterday saying they agree to let him model their cars.

Guys look at the news page, it has been said by a native japanese member that the release date is 'to be confirmed' and not pushed back 3 months.

Maybe the "just get the import" comment by the latest interviewer at CES changed some minds about the Japanese release date :P
