GT5.....Last in the series?

Prologue was a demo of GT5, GT5 is a demo of GT6. Their original intention was to just skip GT5 and make GT6 but they are taking long so that's why 5 came out.

If it was legally possible without anyone having to lose their job then I would provide the evidence, but the general consensus is that if they set their crosshairs on GT then one of two things will happen:

- External management sent to PD to run the project.

OR, and I sincerely hope Sony don't do this

- Sacking Kaz

He was heavily ridiculed within Sony and his talk on 'mimesis' didn't sit well with Sony at all.

If that is really true - either "external management" or "ridiculing" him about his Mimesis vision - than all I can express is sadness towards those people in SCEE that takes for granted to be smart about the guy and company that sold 63 million games in 13 years. What a load of morons.👎👎👎

However, if so, than I presume one of my theoretical contingency plans regarding future of GT series will probably become real and I hope we'll see a Gran Turismo as separate hardware/software platform fully run by PD.

As long as I can play it with a PlayStation controller, I don't care about the platform (unless it will be too expensive).

Well I'll be here as long as they keep producing them. I haven't found another racing game (sim) with as much realism nor built with as much passion as the GT series. You can't help but get drawn in - but I am a car fan as much as I am a gamer and that helps with this series. I'm not really a Need for Speed/Forza sort of guy.

GT5 the last one? I don't believe the OP even believes that.

Last one.... my arrrrse! ;)
