We don't relay fakes or rumors. As I said : we have a contact with Gillet. The only thing possible for this info to be a fake, would be that the guy at Gillet lied to us. Improbable.

Although I don't know about gt5rs exclusives in the past.

I'm willing to put money on that once the game goes gold, PD will be working on a patch that will come out on release day.

The time between gold and release day is a long time for additional testing.

He's basically saying that usually as soon as something is posted on a website, it's posted here by somebody a few minutes later, at times. Not always, but chances are if you find something, it's already been posted.....I guess it's just best to check the news page first. I've been here since 2003, and even when I think I find something new, it's posted here before I even knew the information existed.

I really don't care anymore, midnight launch for me. This will be epic and it's so not worth saving $10bucks to risk a day or maybe even more after release. Consider the anxiety as you sit and wonder "is it in the mail yet, is it in mail yet, has it been shipped yet" shoot me. I've waited 6 years, dreamt about it 3 times, one of which Kaz was actually in my dream talking to me...i want this thing asap!

Posted before but I still can't believe Kaz achieved the same lap time as his real life run at the Ring wow thats is just stunning thats about sums up this master piece of a game.

Just noticed something interesting in the GT Auto screenshots:

Hopefully this means that Racing Modifications will return to GT for the first time since GT2. It could also explain this racing Mini which was seen in a screenshot back in January.

Racing modifications we're one of GT's best features.

But from that photo, it sounds like ALL cars will have Racing Modifications of some sort. GT 1 & 2 had it on some cars, others, like the Muscle cars didn't. Perhaps, however, all premium cars will have RMs but not all the Standard cars will. Although, I'm sure some of them will. And Remember, the reason why RM was taken out was simply because to make the RMs they had to make separate cars, so with RM it's like you're getting twice as many cars...and in fact, you are.

Wait, so is his specific IS-F in the game? I thought just the stock model and the fantasy Touring Car were?

Besides, we'd need to know which tires are equipped in-game. People could match real-life 'Ring times in GT4 on N2 tires; throw on the S-class tires all cars came equipped with in the game and you'd be running comfortably faster than real life.

so with RM it's like you're getting twice as many cars...and in fact, you are.

True, and I've always wondered why PD didn't run with that. They count it as two Skylines when one is just sold in a unique colour; you'd think they would've advertised GT2 as "over 1000 cars" by taking racing mods into consideration, because they certainly are quite different from the stock counterparts.
