i'm thinking we can forget about visual customization . i'd pick weather and night racing any day

Since when? There is going to be some visual customisation, that is confirmed. They just havn't specified what kind of customisation and how in-depth it will be. Better not just be spoilers and aerodynamic body kits - though they would be cool we want MORE!. Plus, the second two are confirmed.

I want to see videos of the final version of NĂĽrbugring

Where did you get it? Other pictures like this?

I cannot wait to powerslide the Mclaren F1 around The Ring. I can see it now hyper car Nurburgring drift battle F1 vs Veyron, Murcielago SV vs Zonda F and the Enzo vs the LFA.

Excuse me for my ignorance, but was the Lexus LF-A ever confirmed for GT5? I don't remember seeing any articles on it. That would be awesome though, just the thought of a game in which you can drive Gallardos, Enzos, LF-As, Mclaren F1s all at the same time on the same track, with what hopefully will be confirmed as dynamic weather makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Just the thought of racing with 16 Le Mans cars at La Sarthe with dynamic weather...

Any video from NĂĽrbugring and McLaren F1 in action!!!!:guilty:

Err not yet i don't think :/ When a good quality video appears i'll bet it will get posted on the news page :)

The F1 isn't playable on the demo, its just an AI driven car... which means we can't really get a good look unless someone follows it on the replay :grumpy:

I know but I hope that somebody will follow him at replay!!!!:ill:

I noticed one thing from the video though, with the Super GT race cars racing on Tokyo track, the no. of cars is reduced to 6, and cars racing on Nordschleife is only 8. Was that because of the demo build? or it's gonna be the case for the full game? :dunce:

I'm pretty sure the final game will support more than that. PD already announced 16 cars max (at least for online) and the R246 track has been shown with 10 (9 AI cars) in previous demo.

Perhaps in GT mode, it will depend on the each race series (ie. if it includes a city track with max of 12 or 10 cars, then the whole series will have a limit of 12 or 10 cars regardless of the type of track) since it's a point competition between you and the other AI drivers. Basically the same iteration as GT4 except with more cars.

Although the LFA has been officially announced, the release date isn't until 2011. I don't want to speculate but I don't see why a great japanese car as that wouldn't make it into the game.

yes it was semi - confirmed but if it is going to be in the game we would have heard of something in the PSOM

and does any one think 16 online players is too much (how can someone start last and have a hope in winning ) also aany news on wether or not there will be qualifying in every race that would be cool

Well, its more fun having 16 players, the more competition the better, and if you start at the back, well your thinking of GT5P, remember, when the full game comes out there will be damage, spins, pit stop strategies to consider.

Oh and how come Rover has never appeared in Gt? (i dont mean MG's) It would have been nice to have an SD1 or P5 to play around with , and watch fall apart :D. (well, not the P5, the sd1 maybe)

It has been mentioned in interviews before. It is confirmed. They just havn't released further details about it. Thats pretty much the same for a lot of things in the game. NASCAR and WRC were announced ages ago and we know very little about them.

The PSOM only really revealed Indy cars as new, everything else had already been announced in interviews as under development just not officially announced for the final game.

You need to ditch the video game mentality. Very few people get to win races. I think it's as few a one per race... correct me if I'm wrong.

Enjoy the racing and the driving, because that's what the game is about. Not just winning.

well i understand what you are saying but sometimes i actually play online to win races and improve my rankings so that you can race against other players with impressive stats but if it 16 players during a very long race where ther is pits damage weather changes and day and night cycles than my dream has come true :):):)

I think the MP4-12C will be included. Speaking of LF-A, I don't think PD will miss it in the final car list.

I think there are still some aces up PD's sleeve. The inclusion of the F1 is terrific and I have massive respect for them.
Perhaps Koenigsegg maybe included but I don't know the chances of that and I'm not holding my hopes up for Porsche.
Luckily for me Porsche's don't interest me in the slightest, at least their road cars anyway. But I do have to admit going down the straight of the 'ring sitting in the cockpit of a GT3. I expect that there is going to be some major japanese names in there. For starters we have the GT-R v Spec and I don't expect the LFA to be in 100% but I think there is a possibility nonetheless.
It would be a great way for Lexus to showcase their main masterpiece and it will be good for PD as well as no other game will include the car. However I think the LFA will be included as Forza DLC either this year or early next year.
As for the MP4-12C, I've heard a lot about this car and I'm sure it will be great but it just doesn't do it for me. I love the Mclaren Mercedes F1 cars but again I don't expect them. If PD were to include F1 licenses I feel it would make it even more popular than it already is but I don't know the probability on that.

I have a question that I'm sure has been asked before: What will the SLR be classed as Mercedes or Mclaren?

Here's a better view of the new "home screen."

Nice đź‘Ť I wonder if when you go to the dealership you see a garage like that. I know thats just for the demo but imagine buying a car from Ford and you have a GT40, Mustang, Focus RS and more next to one another in a showroom. Or perhaps on a forecourt for used cars ;)

EDIT: Perhaps When you've bought a car and you go to your garage and you can personalize your own space where you keep them. such as posters from the photomode, custom wall paint, accessories such as a tool drawer and a rolling road. Now that will never happen. Maybe if you did a few tests on your car you will be able to see the power loss of the cars engine and do other tests such as torque.
