SONY - Konichiwa Mr. Yamauchi san....There was another gtplanet user who mocked us for the release date and its viral state is spreading like WILD FIRE AROUND THE GLOBE!!!

KAZZY Y - I Told you to leave me alone you know the situation here for the release date... firmware, piracy, bluray manufacturing, our intern taking a poop before taking the gold copy to the warehouse, me handing him more tp, now he dropped copy in toliet now we have to make another gold copy, wait since i'm making new copy might as well make hockienheim circuit wait another month...

SONY - THATS MADNESS!!!

KAZZY - nope that's MAKE BELIEVE

SONY - so its ready for production???

KAZZY Y - Yup im delivering the gold copy myself wait a tick...Now I have to go the bathroom... *dropping phone footsteps can be heard*

SONY - ARRRGGGHHH!!! *exec comits choking suicide by too much facepalming*

Woah, I see. So that's why!

Does anyone know if there has been any info to hint at what kind of stats will be collected and shown on leaderboards? Would be nice to see boards for lap times and total race times in GT mode events as well as leaderboards for A-Spec points provided they will return in GT5.

Haha mani! I stand humbly corrected. Perhaps it's the lack of reflections that's throwing me. In any case, if the lake has to look crummy to make way for gameplay features, I'm fine with it.

A shame even Turismo Tuesdays doesn't seem to be on schedule. On an optimistic note, Tuesday still isn't over.

yup im in arizona where the time zone is gmt07 over six and a half hours till midnight watch them make us wait like moths to the flame at least until 11pm

Has anyone considered checking the code on the gamestop site maybe they might find something hidden there, Id check myself only im not that clever

The old Hockenheim ,awesome...:drool:I think that both Bernie and Telk killed the F1 by building those modern and ridiculous tracks:tdown:.Viva Spa,the old Hockenheim:tup:

Just a thought, but is anyone interested in starting a thread concerning Halloween costumes that are motorsport inspired (or even GT5 inspired)? Don't know where to put it, but in any case, I'm thinking I'll be Graham Hill. Going off of this picture:

I plan on making a replica of the Lotus 49 to wear hanging by suspenders. Obviously, it will be a shortened version.

Edit: Holy mother of God! These pictures are enormous!, Edit deuce: Ahhh, better.

oh my god i have a 46" HD TV for play Gran Turismo but those pictures are so huge man! i can´t see entire at the screen haha.

Aren't there threads for completely useless O/T banter and oversized pics?

As it's unlikely we'd get any big gaming news over the weekend, we've now got 3 remaining days of the month for a release date announcement. It's been two weeks since the delay was first announced... and it's a week from when us NTSC'ers thought we'd be playing the game. They've got 70-some odd hours (by my count) to hold true to their "word"...

Oh, and uh... "OMG 2000 pages!"

lol I never understood sites that required re-sized pictures. What's the point?

Because not everybody wants to have to scroll horizontally just to read posts. and not everybody's on high speed.

As much as I love that Kazunori Yamauchi wants to recreate older racing machines and allow you to race fictional races with them, it would be unbelievably awesome if they could recreate some of the classic tracks to race them on, the ones long deemed far too unsafe, like the epic banking Nurburgring (and I'm sure Hockenheim and Monza had these too..? Would be a fantastic feature, as much as I like some of the modern tracks (SOME, not all!), if you really want to feel what it was like driving these older cars you need to have the same tracks these guys raced them on. I don't see why it couldn't be an option, of course it's not something I'm expecting from GT5, I can wait :)

No problem,
Theres no real way people will see that lake a lot either. I don't care if trees have to look crummy either, for more features.

Wow, you just came in here with a poor attitude. My apologies sir *bows*. Horizontal scrolling is ruining your life? Find a hobby.

Oh, and uh... "OMG 2000 pages!"

2000 pages too much! Let people have what makes 'em happy.

...and not everybody's on high speed.

You must be slow, not a desirable GT trait. Take a chill pill.

It isn't very inconvenient to scroll. You're already scrolling down anyway so what is horizontal scrolling going to do?

and not everybody's on high speed.

lol.

Anyways I'm not trying to start anything it's just most forums I'm on don't have requirements for pictures so it just seems silly to me.

There's requirements and then there's courtesy and unspoken rules/codes among users and members. In other words, be considerate and not an *******.

Maybe you both have missed the commonly accepted policy around here about needlessly large images then. Somehow... that's not my problem.

Clever. It's called being considerate for others. Just because you and I are on high-speed connections doesn't mean somebody else who isn't wants to waste a good chunk of time waiting for an image of Graham to download in a thread where they're looking for GT5 news.

lol.

So? Other forums I've visited have allowed for plenty of NSFW things too. Doesn't mean I extend those rules to my time here.

Though I do know text speak is specifically frowned upon here.

Have the pictures not been changed for quite some time? Now, leave it be. Take a lesson from DJ, don't be a jerk. Use 'please' instead of 'useless'. It'll get you places you've never imagined. As far as O/T is concerned, you'll notice I asked if someone could start or showed interest in starting a thread. I don't have the privilege of doing so... yet. No need to be a jerk even though I imagine you'll continue to do so. Over and out.

I understand your point. And I do abide by the rules on this forum. I'm just saying I'm not used to picture resizing rules so it just seems a little weird to me. I'm not used to it. That's all. Again I wasn't trying to start anything.
