Have you got any suggestions of a "free" email address that I could use to join.

I don't have an ISP issued email account, and all the free ones I've tried won't be accepted.

Yup that's what happens when you're not logged in, may be some sort of bug in the system I don't know. I experienced that too when I was banned in the summer.

I see. I registered for an account just now. Had to use a school e-mail even though I graduated, since I couldn't use my gmail. Guess I can transfer to my work e-mail too. Waiting on mod to approve now.

They quoted me in that thread a couple times from over here, so I should get access, lol.

Gmail doesn't work? Still, you have to prepared for a 6 - 18 months wait before you get your account. They accept users in batches, so you could be lucky though.
