Make him sync his trophies already.

All he needs to do is press the PS-button, go to Friends and click his own nickname.

That's all there's to it.

It was real days ago. I honestly can not believe how people faced with direct and conclusive evidence scream 'fake'. It is far worse than the people who believe everything.

Personally I'd like a public shaming of all the people who said the initial aussie leak was fake once the retail discs are out and look identical.

Me too :)

A video is actually a lot of pictures(frames) each shown for 1/30 seconds. So yes, i could be faked but it would be very hard and time consuming
Yeah. GT5 is on screen in that video for around 10-15 seconds, which equates to 300-450 frames.

Photoshopping that many unique pictures would be time consuming enough, but stitching all of them together to look like a continuous video would be a royal pain in the ass.

So the video almost certainly has to be real. đź‘Ť

DUDES! EVERYONE! STOP FOR A SECOND AND READ THIS PLEASE!

Aren't trophies PSN dependent? I mean, he can see them appearing on his screen and unlocking blahblah. But if he tries to sync I don't think PSN is yet updated (I don't think Sony wants that yet), even if he doesn't get an error any of us shouldn't be able to see them through PSN.

Do you get my idea? Can anyone confirm or deny this possibility? Thanks.

Those pictures were good evidence, yes. But they are MUCH easier to fake than a video is.

You can say it is MUCH easier and it seems like an easy thing to do. But creating a fake of that level is quite a hard thing to do requiring specialist skills. You will get a dozen people per thread saying they could do it no problem, but how many can back it up with a convincing fake of their own? Zero. It is very hard. And besides that, you have other considerations. Motive, ability, plausibility etc. Even if that image was easy to fake, the other considerations still pointed to it being real.

But whatever. At least threads like this one make me feel like a genius :P

That's very possible, probably. Also, when he syncs, Sony is gonna see that. And what do you think happens then? In worst case? Not something good...

It doesn't work like that, otherwise they'd have to do a maintenance every time a game got released. Also you see lots of times people reviewing games and earning trophies even before the game is released.

Tell him to synch his trophies

Photoshopping would be time consuming. Stitching together is trivial.

Well what I meant was that photoshopping all the images so that they could be stitched together to look like a real video would be time consuming.

Especially with the XMB sparkles.

Read the thread again, there's a post by one lucky punter who's currently playing GT7. The rest of us will have to wait til 2025 for that!

Still nothing from that guy.. As i´ve said later, my friend will pick his copy at around 7pm so we will have definitive answer

EDIT: he just left his PC

Can I also say that even f he syncs them they may not appear on the website straightaway, also as the game isn't out yet you may not be able to access them.

Both Roucky31 and Gleba (two of the other people shown in that video) say they haven't seen him playing it.

They did both however respond within 5 minutes of each other with a single "no" in the message field. Take that to mean what you will.

Sorry guys! I don't have this game. And i can't create gameplay video.. of course.. Track.. i don't know but only thing i know.. in GT5 is 20 tracks
