I'm not saying Sony is losing but because of this situation I bought the 360+forza3 bundle. After 3 months I'm still playing it with the pad (and with the clutch...and my hand hurts). I'm not gonna buy a piece of 🤬 wheel by microsoft, nor will I buy a super expensive/never in stock/hard to setup on pc wheel (fanatec turbo s). Hopefully I don't need the wifi adapter, hopefully I got a 12 months xbl code and ms points for half the regular price...but once gt5 will be out I will sell everything.UK retail stores updated after the delay news from sony, to a mixture of april/may/june to august 13th the latest. Now a new date of 24th september is up (from PLAY). This development is not going in the direction i want. The pattern is very dispiriting. Especially as i no longer play prologue as the physics dont feel right anymore. I'm ordering other (non driving) big games coming out, starting with MAG.
The consequence of this is Sony makes more money from me, if GT5 came out now i wouldn't be buying any other games in 2010.
They win.
I post it here, but nothing new. Just my feeling about this video.

I always feel there something wrong in GT5p, races where annoying but why?
Looking this video , it's clear, car movement isn't dynamic at all. There isn't vibration, braking and acceleration is not perceptible in gt5.
The feedback of the track isn't here
has anyone ever brought up the the point of pontiac and saturn cars likely to be taken out of the game? Would that cause any kinds of delays? Or are they being kept in the game? Not sure why it's popping up in my head now.

I was just watching the Rolex 24 at Daytona and and I saw an interview with one of the BMW drivers (sorry, I forgot his name). After the interview was through, he turned around and on the back of his racing suit in big silver letters it said "Gran Turismo". I literally shook my head at the tv thinking, could it be? Could this mean the Rolex Grand-am Sports Car series will be in GT5? I sure hope so.
True, and since the PSEye will replicate MY head movements I couldn't care less of the actual vibrations in gt5.
P.S. the camera in the real car shakes a lot because it is FIXED to the car. Does your vision do the same while driving? Come on....
There are a lot of factors that compensate vibrations.

Yea, PD knows about the camera vibrations... they simulated it in gt4 for there onboard cam. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rd-JUF2mC3w
I liked it too but after a few weeks I couldn't even feel it anymore (=useless). It is secondary stuff, EA's speciality... like the blur and screaming thing. These effects use the resources of the console. Do the math, ask yourself what's Shift and what's GT and who are their respective developers. I won't go any further.True, but the car is shaking, in your seat in front of tv ....no, so screen movements is a trick to feel the drive more realistic and i like it.
I'm tempted as well, but all my extra money right now is going into my real car.![]()
I don't see why they would be taken out(if they are in). GM still holds the rights to the brand and cars they produced. Just because the brand isn't around doesn't mean the rights just disappear.
DLC confirmed for GT5 according to the news page. Sounds promising for 2010 race/rally car inclusion.
uhh when we get new info about gt.... it's time comeoneLast two months were ftw...
btw look at this:

In the link, it mentions that PD recorded the sounds of the car including even the sound of the door closing.
I wonder if that means opening doors etc in the showroom. I remember NFS Porsche Unleashed had the feature too, and it would be an interesting new dimension for the purchasing/browsing/virtual museum experience.

"On Saturday, 10 video-game impresarios from Japan spent the afternoon in town, capturing in intricate detail images of the car from its bold bodywork, right down to the stitching on its seat covers. They recorded its sounds from the guttural purr of its Ford 427 single overhead cam engine, to the distinctive click of its door locks."
I don't have a Miata anymore.
