Just checked my emails boys (and girls) and Play have posted my order :D The countdown begins! It's going to make going into Uni on a saturday, and possibly sunday(!), to finish this bitch of an assignment so much more worthwhile when it finally arrives!

I have a question though: In the m3 clip I can hear you playing with clutch and H-shifter am I correct? When you shift down, does the game automatically blip the throttle slightly to make the downshift smoother or are you doing it yourself?

EDIT: Sorry, you mentioned that already in the video. That's just bleeding awesome! I've just mastered heel and toe and can now do it smoothly and not being able to do that in the game would've sucked!

So it will be wednesday...

After the multiple delays, Sony could have, at least, allowed the retailers to sell the game as soon as possible (like they're doing in France in fact).
 
Can someone with the game (or without, if it's solid info) confirm dynamic weather as in can the weather change in the middle of a race? I've had (wet)dreams about it starting to rain suddenly during a nightly race.

You are implying SONY allows french shops to sell it now. Is it something you know for a fact, or just something you think? It would be a rather bold move from SONY to do. More and more shops sell it now, that doesnt make it legit just cause a lot do it. Just like it isn't legit to speed 160/hour on our motorways, when only 140 is allowed, just because everyone runs at 160 doesnt make it legal -_-
 
So lets discuss this ,the fact standard cars cant get wheels. You know light weight wheels and tires are one of my first upgrades. Which might not sound like much but they make big diffrence. so now most cars are just going to have heavy wheels

Yea i always heel and toe...

At one point i didnt heel and toe on purpose entire a turn and lost the rear quit badly cause the rear wheels locked up .

Once again, nice job Chris, I can't believe I am more hyped for the game than I was 10 minutes ago :indiff:

At least for Micromania (a big French videogames shops franchise), the early release date seems authorised by Sony itself (a lot of French videogames websites posted this news yesterday, the day Micromania said the game would have a friday launch).

In addition to that, some of my friends in France called Micromania yesterday to know if it was true, and, according to the employees of the shops, it's.

*Torontonians alert*

This is for those who have ordered your GT5 collector's edition from EBGames/Gamestop. If you don't know already, some thieves ran off with two trailers of Sony products including Playstation PS3 & PSP games, consoles and other stuff that's worth $1 million in total this past Monday & Tuesday in Brampton.

So I went to check into my EB to pay off the rest of my collector's edition pre-order and I asked about midnight launch. The guy gave me a smirk and was shaking his head. Then the conversation begins:

Me: So is the game ready to be out on 24th? Can you check if the game is here or not?
GS: Yep, if you pre-order you got 48hours to pick up.
Me: For the collector's edition? :dunce:
GS: Oh...hold on...is that what you've got? Lemme check...(Clicks on computer on company website)
Me: 'cause you know, some thieves jacked two trailers of PS stuff earlier this week. I just hope my game's not in those two trailers..:scared:
GS: Where'd you hear that? (Gave me a concerned look and finds the company website where it does not give a date.) Nope...it should be in next week. (Alarms went off immediately)
Me: And the standard edition?
GS: Standard edition is already here. Collector's should be next week. We'll give you a call when the game arrives.
Me: ...

Oh boy.....I'm so confused right now. Obviously, the GS employee just read off the website which says "Currently unavailable." Or could it be that EB don't actually have the darn collector's edition in store right now. Could it mean all the GT5 collector's editions were on those 2 stupid stolen trailers? For those who are in Toronto, give a call to your EB and see if you can find out more. I am seriously hoping the guy's just clueless and the game is safe. And for those who think 4 days is a long wait, be thankful you're guaranteed to grab your copy, and not a "It should be in next week." answer. :grumpy:

Darn. Well I asked my friend who works at EB games here, he told me they have the regular edition. He said he'll check tomorrow for the Collector's but for sure he said they had MANY copies of the RE.

Sadly I pre-ordered a CE :nervous:

Currently lvl 9, working on IB License, last test gave everybody a big dent in their confidence. All hobby driver friends gave up on it :)

But until now ... only like 1-2 night license tests, 1 with rain ... no combination, or change ... but ya, license tests are not that long ...

Need to get IB-10 now ... wish me luck :)
