First video is up !

The physics are in my opinion really close to the one in IRacing. I have to say that i have no tried every single tyre compound yet, nor have i tried every single car on every track, nor have i modified any of the cars, since i only played Arcade mode!!!

The physics are a major step ahead, like real big! Its just so much more accurate and you really feel that you are in control of the car! In IRacing i run the MX5 alot at Laguna Seca and Lime Rock, and i must say Laguna Seca does look and FEEL laser scanned to me in GT5!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so impressed! Also Fuji feels alot different from Fuji in GT5 P!

Thanks, I know am bugging everyone with this...but if you have finished installing the game, would you mind importing your cars/garage from GT5P or GTPSP if you have it. Thanks in advanced and enjoy GT!👍

was one of the first things i tried.
you can somehow sync your ARCADE(only) and your gtpsp garage.
did my first race with my girls volvo 245, and it looked quite bad-
somehow the volvo looked more like the psp model, all the other standards i dealt with looked way better, but i had no chance to compare "my" car to the
one you can buy in gt5.

Does it go into neutral or does it stay in the gear you had before. Say you are in fourth and change to fifth without pressing the clutch, do you keep going on fourth or does it change to N?

I apologize for going to such lenght on a matter which is probably trivial to most racers but I want to know.

Yes very much. That's the way it works in LFS and I really can't think of a better way. Many times when racing furiously I don't press the clutch hard enough or somehow mess it up and going into neutral is a fair and realistic penalty for such mistake.

Thank you 👍! I wanted to know as I do alot of split screen racing aswell. As for the models I guess the volvo just may be like that in gt5, am sure its not that bad :) Again appreciate your time and enjoy the game!

Chris, could you make a video of Special Stage Route 5 with the external view (in order to see more of the scenery)? Unfortunately Tekken90's version is too dark. If you really have time, both in normal and reverse versions please. Sorry if I am asking too much.

Best video so far, and as incredible as it seems, I could FEEL that the physics were way better than in prologue just by looking at this video. Having played prologue for a month I was quite disapointed by its physics and hoped GT5 was going to greatly improve them, now I'm certain it's the case! Can't wait.
 
In chris's Le Sarthe video at 2:15 you can see the vision blur from the G-force of hard braking from high speed, which is a new effect for GT5.

No problem! I don't have youtube channel or digital camera so i can't post vids of gameplay but i try to help if i can to make the wait easier.
Cause i know how hard is to be in a Gran Turismo frenzy these days.
 
Some great videos there Chris, thanks very much! Good friving with the clutch as well, there was one point on the Nurburgring GP video where in the left hander following the fast S bend you floored it to get it sideways and the physics and everything looked amazing!

Question:
Shouldnt there be skidmarks on the final straight when you do burnouts, or cant I just see them because of the low quality video ?

I rented Prologue for the last 5 days to unlock cars for GT5, and when I got the Ferrari F1 car, I noticed that it had 900-degree steering. Does anyone know if the F1 cars and X1 will have 200-degree steering in GT5? I would really hope so, or you'd probably have DualShock users setting the records for the X1! :(

I think you can change the steering sensitivity in wheel options. But you have to do it manually every time you wish to use it.
 
Guys, GT5 is incredible. It blew my entire mind by just playing it 40 mins!!!! Tomorrow i will do as much as a review as i can possible achieve, with a much better commentary... if you guys like/want!!
I must say that PD and KY are the picasso and davinci of Racing Gaming!!! I mean, if its raining and you stop your car completely, there are just a few rain drops on ur windshield, once you get faster and faster, the intense the drops get! i mean... who would do that!! the attention to detail is just mind blowing!
At this point i actually prefere being single so i could just play GT5 the entire weekend without talking, eating, thinking .... !!!

Progress ... Lvl 10 ain't so fast to get 8 1/2 ...

Got my Realife car - VW Golf GTI Mk4 (no diesel like mine but meh, looks like it) ... SO HAPPY, great cockpit, and the blue lights when on night track.

The top right button on the G27 is for the lights, still no mapping option ... was default.

Like 8 friends of mine sitting around, everyone trying stuff, no time for data mining yet ... sorry :sly:

No hickups, load times get better and better (the little "installing" that pops up every now and then gets less frequent).

Cape Ring ... strange but fun, audience named one turn "F-Zero Corner" cause it feels like it when going through.

PS: the big turbo on the Golf Mk4 did nothing ... like 210 hp, not like in previous GTs were it would nearly instantly get 500HP when you got the big turbo, race tires, fun fun :)

Trying to get lvl 10 tonight, 00:10 but no stopping, it's weekend :)

Great driving (show off:D) After seeing those clips, you really got me pumped for this, Wednesday cannot come sooner. Cant wait to try rallying. More vids and more extreme driving please:tup: loving the AI! Enjoy the game but dont forget us :)

i drive raw
no asc , tc or abs or skid recovery, professional physics and when you get into the steering wheel i change to simulation, im pretty sure a lot of people leave it at amateur because they dont know.

How do you keep it from wheel spin without any traction control? I use all those settins as well acept for TC on 3-4.
