Bribe is a strong word...

But the world is now ruled by lobbies, with the "exchange" or manufacturing of delicate information, for indirect and "totally unrelated" future benefits... You're right. Bribe would be the right word.

(not saying it's true...)

Well if T10 feel the need to resort to bribing I guess that means they knew they made an inferior game...anyways no amount of bribing will change the facts....and those facts are that GT5 will totally crush FM3's sales wise, that is a fact so regardless of any bribing allegations sales figures will show just which game has the biggest following and T10 can only dream of selling that kinda amount :sly:

To be fair to Jalopnik, their site appears to be owned by Kotaku or they're an affiliate of that site, and that specific story is posted by one of the guys that runs Kotaku (Luke Plunkett).

Lots of sites are owned by Gawker media (Gizmodo, lifehacker, Jalaponik, Kotaku and lots more). And when a article falls under 2 of the sites interest they post it twice. So GT5 being a car game will get cross posted between kotaku and Jalaponik quite alot.

In this case it was a kotaku article.

I saw that. If that guy shouldn't be posting that in there, or is miss-using jalopnik, or are abusing their "wounership" rights, or... whatever, that is a jalopnik.com problem. Because in the end, it is published on jalopnik. Which is sad, since I otherwise love the site.

I love how they think they look unreal!!! Who else has seen the horror stories where NASCARS do just that without having to even do a head on collision? With less air overall.

The only thing missing from that is proprer crumpling, then it could go on "Worlds most Amazing videos" After toning down the graphics to look crap, of course

Yup. Which is the kind of crappy corporate/business meddling with media/information to misinform the public they usually do. By all means possible. I bet they even have a set of rules for these "reposts" that some "editor" has to follow.

But we digress... This is not a discussion about lobbies and "cables".

I cannot handle the stupidy of my B-Spec driver anymore.
Complete moron!

The B-spec drivers do lack, but you can improve this. Make him do the same course afew times. Makes sure your suspension is fully tuned and lowered rather close to the ground. After I did this my driver was much improved. If you have a superior car, as the race starts tell him to overtake. Not always but most of the time he will take the lead. This is when his bar goes down and he drives much better.

People one question... I buyed a Evo IX and im lvl 11 (I love this car no matter what :b) and i want to tune it; its better to tune it normally or do a racing modification? And that Nissan GT-R Spec V 09' which costs 157.500 Credits, is it a good car, or i gonna receive one from reward from something later?

Tune it normally, but you'll get to the point (eventually) where you will want/need to racing modify it. Just modify it enough so that it is as fast as the competition and you should be able to go a long way with it.

i'm frustrated with this game, first i can't get any car to do the classic challenges simply because there's none available, finally after a long time i get the chance to buy an alfa, but i had to tune the living sh** out of it to actually win a race (a beginners race :S)

Now i'm stuck with the pickup challenge, there's none of the cars even for sale that are allowed entry to the race, not new and not in used cars.

This is not verry well thought trough.

and if i win, (eventually) i get a daihatsu midget... well ok, but if i win the pro challenge i also win a damn midget, just a different build year. how about some variation??? 1031 cars, and i get 2 bloody midgets :/
anyway if someone has a tip on how to get myself a ford f150 or something like that i'd appreciate it.

I think you win a truck for completing a license, that's what I did.

Whatever happened to the Stig which appeared in one of the trailers?

I'd be damned if PD spent time modeling the Stig just for a lousy trailer.

yeah it's weird cause he's still in the game but in menu form lol, if you go to the main menu and watch when The Top Gear Test Track shows up, he will drive an Aston martin out of the filming studio.
